I think corruption is everywhere, but it's more common in some places than in others. The corruption has been spreading in Libya since the Civil War started in 2011, when the so-called Arab Spring hit us.
Whether you thought Al-Gaddafi's rule was decent or evil, it's hard to argue that the current situation isn't worse. Whether economically, socially, or even morally, we've been on decline ever since.
