The tsunami was the largest earthquake that ever occurred in December 2004, which coincided on a Sunday. Sunday is the most awaited day to gather with family and enjoy the day off to visit tourist attractions and even national parks to spend the weekend as long as they want, but unfortunately what happened at that time, the tidal wave that destroyed the urban side and a number of villages were inundated by a huge wave from the sea called the tsunami that year. Thousands of victims were crushed by the rubble of buildings and were also carried away by the large currents of the waves that blanketed the urban side with floods that hit the city. One of the most magnificent cities in Aceh, right in Banda Aceh Indonesia, thousands of bodies scattered from the rubble of the ruins of buildings and also property carried by the currents of the waves that hit the settlers.
At that time I felt the deepest fear in my life, in fact I have never felt a very powerful earthquake than before, it was as if the earth was doomsday, the estimated shaking of the earthquake on that fateful day was about 1.30 minutes the earth swayed as if It was as if the earthquake would never stop until the waves hit the mainland and entered the urban and residential areas.
The tsunami waves were felt by most of the Indonesian population, who were very worried at the time of the aftershock that occurred on the second day of the incident. The earthquake that occurred on Sunday made thousands of people remember its history to this day, thousands of bodies were scattered everywhere at that time, the stench of corpses was very strong in the city for about two months. Many volunteers who are from the center of government provide first aid, many donations were received from several neighboring countries such as Australia, Malaysia and Thailand in 2004 ago.
Sunday was colored with deep tears by people in Aceh province, as usual Sunday is a weekend that everyone looks forward to to gather together with family and relatives to have fun wherever they want to spend the day, the greatest history of my life that is the most important part to remember as a difficult lesson that ever happened on Sunday December 2004.
Events that occur out of control can make cries explode, screams are heard everywhere when the incident takes place, I can't imagine this reality that has happened in my entire life, natural phenomena that occur and cannot be controlled make people afraid, natural disasters become a disaster. pathetic way of life, many of them lost their families, children and also property which was destroyed during the incident took place in a matter of minutes.
The damage that occurred was very sad, many buildings, shops and also housing were razed to the ground, the natural phenomena that occurred at that time were very sad as if the earth was destroyed and flown away by vast waters from the mainland, many buildings and property became victims, many orphans who live in the orphanage until now, they have made it clear that the natural disaster has claimed many lives and the people around them. In 2022, the city of Banda Aceh will become a developed and developing city after the 2004 tsunami.

I remember the news about this and I couldn't believe it. I was 12 during that time and tsunamis seemed a thing of fiction.
The tsunami is a reality that happened in my city in 2004 and until now there are still remnants of the ruins of buildings and many more, the tsunami that occurred in 2004 took many lives.
