What do you call someone who lacks intelligence? Stupid donkey!?!
Of course, you often see people who are willing to spend a lot of money and pay dearly to improve their appearance. Is it crazy to spend money on branded clothes and accessories, even taking the risk of enduring pain for plastic surgery to improve the shape of their nose?
Compare! How many people are willing to invest their money in their intelligence or skills?
Handsome but stupid
They only had good looks and would never have the intelligence to be able to do anything good with their lives. It can fade and disappear at any time.
Intelligent but uninteresting
They can inspire you to be better, educate yourself, and make the world a better place at any time. Intelligence never fades or disappears; it will always increase.
The advantages of being intelligent are undeniable. "Smart but unattractive" people are more likely to have better values in life and go the extra mile to succeed. On the other hand, "stupid but handsome" is just an appearance and is not useful for improving life or achieving success. When good looks are gone, you are just a stupid donkey.

Appreciation for appearance is a pseudonymous and momentary kind of appreciation. You will be conned by him. The media manages to deceive our children by constantly presenting some people as trend-setters, and it has influenced the younger generation to follow their appearance.
Everything ends in a consumerist nature, and they have made a lot of money by successfully instilling the understanding that appearance is the most important value, which leads to an empty and meaningless life.
Prioritizing appearance as the main value has actually pushed human existence into the decline of living civilization. Humans have been blessed because they have reason and intelligence to increase the value of goodness and improve the quality of life. Your value is not in your appearance, but in your intelligence.
I and all of you certainly love to interact with people who are physically unattractive but have a high level of intelligence. Instead, you are only willing to sit and talk for a few minutes with those who are handsome but understand nothing.
