Weekend-Engagement: WEEK 176 || Attending Convention
Greetings to you all dear weekend lover and hivers, it's such a marvelous thing to be alive, healthy and thriving, to this I can say, thanks you God.
Kudos to @galenkp for his untiring efforts in working hard and making sure the community is busy with activities.
This weekend topic I chose is:
Share one or two images from your weekend, (this one or last weekend) and tell us about what you did and why. Remember to use your own photos.

I was a delegate to "Exercise Patience" 2023 Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses, which is being held in different cities round the world. I attended from 13th to 15th October, 2023 which ended on Sunday. The program emphasis on the need to exercise patience in all we do because patience is a rear quality in this me first world. Examples of men of old who patiently waited for God and receive their rewards were brought to the fore to learn from.
While we were in the noon break, as we walked toward the car park exchanging greetings with other delegates, I took the picture alongside my wife and her friend. I took this picture because it serve as a reminder for me to continue to exercise patience in my dealing with others and in my service to God who is never slow to his promises.

My second picture is a section of the convention ground near a reservoir. I remember seven (7) years ago when I was fortunate to join hundreds of others in response to a volunteer call to work on this cite. I recall the tree planting and the grass planting, it was as if they will not grow. But today, it's amazing thing to see the tender trees planted those days growing bigger and tall, becoming a wind breaker today, providing shade from the sun. That reminds me the need to exercise patience. It was at that moment that I took the picture from where I was sitting.

This is my entry to the Weekend-Engagement: WEEK 176 in the Weekend-Experience community hosted by @galenkp.
