Following my post from yesterday on My Happiest Memories - we created another very happy memory yesterday.
We started out with a bite to eat at a restaurant in the Limnati Hotel which was right where the boat launches from.
We had some dishes from the hot starter menu, baby prawns, calamari (which I don't eat) and some lovely salmon with avocado pear and cream cheese. Also we had a couple of dips, tarama and tzadziki with pita bread.
We were so lucky that as it's the end of the season, there were only two other couples that were booked on the boat with us.
Furthermore, the boat that we had booked had engine trouble and was replaced with a more luxurious boat.
So, it was a double blessing.

We stopped at Blue Lagoon for an hour and were able to swim in the crystal blue waters there.
Afterwards, they served us champagne and fruit.
The trip back was really interesting. The captain piloted the boat right up to the rocks. We had never seen them this close before from the sea side. Of course, we have had excursions up to the rocks and even walked down the stairwell from the shore to see the caves.

We had a truly wonderful day and came home exhausted and slept like babies.

Such a beautiful way to spend a day, I love going out on a boat. I haven't got to do it in a while, but hope to again soon xxx
