Hoy vengo a contarles y mostrarles lo que me ocupó este sábado pasado, que se trató de una cita con mi novia donde además nos dimos un gusto disfrutando de una merienda especial.
Fuimos a comernos unos golfeados, que son unos panes dulces bañados en caramelo de papelón, un derivado del proceso de elaboración de azúcar. Son típicos y originarios de la región capital de Venezuela. Pueden acompañarse también con queso blanco rallado o en una rebanada.
Junto con los golfeados pedimos café latte, una merienda dulce y perfecta para pasar un buen momento sentados mientras conversamos y disfrutamos.
Today I come to tell you and show you what occupied me this past Saturday, which was a date with my girlfriend where we also indulged ourselves by enjoying a special snack.
We went to eat some golfeados, which are sweet breads dipped in caramel of papelon, a derivative of the sugar-making process. They are typical and native to the capital region of Venezuela. They can also be served with grated white cheese or in a slice.
Along with the golfeados we ordered latte coffee, a sweet and perfect snack to spend a good time sitting while we chat and enjoy ourselves.
Fuimos a un local algo reciente, no se si ha sido una empresa restaurada ya que entre su lema indican que datan de 1947, pero como les digo ese local tiene poco tiempo de abierto, posiblemente una nueva sucursal o remodelación de lo que antes funcionaba el mismo comercio.
We went to a somewhat recent place, I do not know if it has been a restored company since among its motto they indicate that they date from 1947, but as I tell you that place has been open for a short time, possibly a new branch or remodeling of what used to be the same comerce.
Lo cierto es que realmente estaban deliciosos los golfeados y el café muy bueno, espectacular la calidad y con precio acorde, además de muy buena atención.
Como les dije fue una oportunidad para conversar y disfrutar tranquilamente, además aproveche para tomarle algunas fotos a Mary, algunas más serias y otras con su espontaneidad.
The truth is that the golfeados and the very good coffee were really delicious, the quality was spectacular and the price was right, as well as very good service.
As I told you, it was an opportunity to talk and enjoy quietly, also take the opportunity to take some photos of Mary, some more serious and others with her spontaneity.
Simplemente estaba hermosa y yo estaba embelesado viéndola. Creo que la cámara no logra captar lo preciosa que estaba.
