Crafting The First TCG Card!

First Card

I have spend some time on the new land card crafting. It is not nearly enough but I have made some progress. Again, the reference post is this one. Last night after work, I tried to craft the common grain card, which is a water card. The first thing I had to prepare for is Cinder. I first thought I will just make 60 CC card, which is level 5 and it got a key level break ability there, the 50% DEC discount.

That requires 22,500 Cinder. It also requires a whopping 1.2M Grain! Okay, just for a test, I spend all that and here is what I got.

60 CC of the water grain card, Tireless Framhand. The next order of business to put the card somewhere. For me, that is the difficult part. Choices are two end member spectrum and anything in between.

  • Put the card at your highest producing plot and boost the 4 high PP cards (the Vugtis method)
  • Put the card at your lowest producing plot and see if the peasants get any boost (the AZ method)

I will try both, but first I thought I try the AZ method.

Here are the steps I took:

  • Find a water plot, easy with this link, https://land.spl-stats.com/player-overview?player=azircon&tab=deed....just replace azircon with you ign, and use any filter you want
  • Find how much grain in produces, mine does 121 grain/hr
    • when I put the 60CC card there, I saw that the net production decreased due to low base PP
    • base PP is only 300 for that card
    • NO BUENO! Need higher PP
  • I decided to get the card to Level 8, or 1100 base PP, 220 CC
  • At Level 8 the card gets 40% bountiful grain, -30% Rationing (less grain requirement), and 50% DEC discount

Here is the net result. It got a 50% total boost of PP (additional 10% from the common totem), and required 50% less DEC. Also now it requires 30% less grain, so the total net boost is 80%. It produces 168.3 Grain/hr. However, on a net DEC/hr earning basis, it used to produce 1.063/hr in DEC, and now it is producing 1.813/hr in DEC. That is the net 80% boost!

There you have it. The AZ method for peasants.

PS:

The Vugtis Method (put it on the best grain-producing plot)

These are my River and Bog Plots, both takes water cards with a 10% boost and both are grain producers. I have 6 such plots that are Epic. The best one is Region 10, Track 03, Plot 99.

I should replace that Frost Giant, with this card! I need to find an Epic Totem....

Man, the amount of Cinder and Grain required is wild, but seeing the final numbers makes it feel worth it. That jump from 1.06 DEC/hr to 1.81 DEC/hr is huge. It’s cool watching you turn raw mats into something that literally changes the economics of a plot.

Yeah, do you have any land plots?

Ah, okay, I finally understand the point of land cards now. I probably won't be able to craft any of them myself, but thanks for sharing this. It's interesting how it can change things in the game for you a bit. Did you have to craft a bunch more cards to get the one up to level 8 or does that use a different method to level the land cards up?

Leveling up is just combining, just like standard cards. It is the same process.

Okay, so you must need a ton of cinder to get it up that high huh?

150k Cinder for a max copy.

Shoo, okay! 😀
