Camilla loved Chinese food and everything related to China, its culture and traditions. She had read that the shape of the Chinese chopsticks for eating had a philosophical meaning as one part of the wand is rectangular while the other is round to remind, according to the Chinese, the spherical shape to the sky and the square to the ground, or the united dichotomy of Yin and Yang or the perfect harmony between mind and body. Camilla adorava il cibo cinese e tutto quello che riguardava la Cina, la sua cultura e le sue tradizioni. Aveva letto che la forma delle bacchette cinesi per mangiare avevano un significato filosofico in quanto una parte della bacchetta è rettangolare mentre l’altra è tonda a ricordare, secondo i cinesi, la forma sferica al cielo e quella squadrata alla terra, o la dicotomia unita di Yin e Yang ovvero la perfetta armonia tra mente e corpo. Colpita da tanta spiritualità, da quel momento Camilla mangiò sempre con le bacchette.
