Here we have the Magnificent Hogwarts Wizarding 5972 Castle Express Locomotive.
Usually found stationed at Platform 9 3/4 of Londons Kings Cross, The Hogwarts Express is a Private Service that transports Students from years 1 through 6 to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Year 7's are also allowed to travel on the train, but as they are 17 by that time, they are permitted to use magic outside of school and so tend to travel to Hogwarts via Apparition, the Floo Network or PortKey.
The train bears a striking resemblance with one from the Muggle (Non Wizarding Folk) world, which was the Great Western Railways 4900 Class 5972 Olton which operated between 1937 and 1963.
This Particular train can be found on display at The Harry Potter Studio Tour in Watford, London.
The train is famous for having carried many famous (and infamous) wizards and witches to Hogwarts through the Centuries including He Who Must Not Be Named and Harry Potter 'The Boy Who Lived'.
Originally there were four carriages making up the train which later became five.
Passengers are encouraged to take their own food and drinks for the journey, though there is a small cart of sweets and candy's available for purchase (Be prepared, on occasion, the rich kids 'take the lot' and so there is a chance they will run out of stock)
Journey time between Kings Cross and Hogwarts is Approximately 9 hours. The train departs at 11am sharp. After this time, entry to the Platform is prohibited.

I've never been a Harry Potter fan but I'm sure the die hard fans will love this! Actually, even for a non HP fan, the Hogwarts express is really impressive
It was super impressive.. Even more so considering the whole station that it is in, is just a movie set.
Cool train, but I did not quite get it, does it go anywhere or not? Except for mentioned above of course 😄
Now that the Harry Potter movies have finished the train is no longer used. It now resides within the (fake) station pictured which is a movie set inside the studio where it was filmed.
