Poisoning love

Not being tied down by anyone and enjoying life to the fullest was the life you could call what Kenzie was living presently. It wasn't that he couldn't be tied down in a relationship, but he chose not to. He enjoyed being a player and dating five girls at once. He had so many tactics on how to get them. Some girls like guys who are fearless and brave, some like guys who they can control, some like who can listen to them and some want guys who can give them love. It just depends on the energy you give Kenzie, and that's what the girls get from him. Often, most girls don't know they are being hated because of the attention he showers them, but all in all, they are being played.

Kenzie is currently dating Debbie, Valerie, Willow, Sabrina and Brenda. Debbie was the feisty and hard to get type who wouldn't take nonsense but he managed to break the wall around her heart. Despite the fact that she told him she never wanted a relationship, he made sure to convince her that being with him would be the best thing to ever happen to her. He would often get her flowers, chocolate and write poems for her and Debbie thought that someone who would go through all this stress for her must really be in love with her and she agreed to date him. Unknown to her, Kenzie only told his personal assistant to pick out some flowers and chocolate and then, he copied sweet words from rare sites he found online. He only liked the challenge that came with getting Debbie and was so excited when he got her.

Valerie and Willow had the same personality. They were what you would call "daddy's girl". They so much loved attention and they were obsessed with him. Kenzie would always tell them he loved them because that was what they wanted. They were gullible and always believed anything he said even though they were obvious lies. He met Valerie at a shopping complex and they kick-started their relationship from there. That of Willow was also similar because he met her at a mall and although she had her doubts about him because of how smooth he was with talking to her with that sugar tongue of his, she loved the attention he gave her and also, fell for his tricks.

Sabrina was the toughest for Kenzie to crack. It took him six months before she actually gave in to his proposal and that was because she was a devoted Christian and says she would not engage in any relationship if it wasn't leading to marriage and if the man wasn't religious himself. It was a tricky one for Kenzie because he wasn't a religious person and also, he didn't have any intention of getting married to Sabrina but to get her. He had to go through it because aside from the fact she was religious, she was the most beautiful of the girls he had met with an innocence that drew him in. He started attending church even though he does not believe in God and it took him six whole large rigorous months for him to the heart of Sabrina and it was worth it. He even promised her marriage.

For Brenda, Kenzie met her at the airport on his way to Chicago. They spent the entire flight together and talked for long hours and got to know each other better. Well, that is if getting to know each other was Brenda talking and Kenzie listening to everything she had to say about herself. She was someone who trusted people easily and could talk about anything and everything. Kenzie made sure to note that the first step to being a player is to not disclose anything too personal about yourself. He felt the road to being a successful player is by avoiding talking about yourself and he did just that because none of his girlfriends knew anything too personal about him. He went on several dates with Brenda and that was all it took for her to fall madly in love with him.

Soon, he was halfway bored and needed a new form of entertainment. That was his downfall and maybe if he had done otherwise, maybe his life would be the same and probably better. But risk taking was something every man always wanted, well almost all the men wanted to take risk.

Hate was gorgeous, in fact sexy. She was the definition of the current beauty standard. Men were all over her like ants over sugar. Boys were blinded by her beauty and women were envious of her. Rumors of her beauty being a result of cosmetic surgery floated around the town but a lot of people knew it was nothing but a rumor. Considering the fact that Kenzie loved adventure and excitement, he knew acquiring the trending girl was a way of boosting his ego.

He went for her and she refused. He was astonished and also excited. The chase was so thrilling that he forgot to cover up his dirt. One after the other, the girlfriends figured out each other's existence and particularly felt betrayed and cooperated to destroy the life of the Playboy.

They captured him and tied him up and left him at his home.

Kenzie was certainly foiled by the young ladies. You have here very strong character development and great descriptions. The story is detailed and you are methodical in going from hapless girlfriend to hapless girlfriend.

Structurally, the story works well. However with such a great buildup, readers find the resolution rather abrupt. Kenzie does forget to cover his tracks and the girls catch him. But, after all the great detail in the first part of the story, we would like to know a little bit more about how that happens. We offer this advice because you are a writer who is developing very strong skills and we want to encourage that.

Thank you very much for writing this detailed and well-developed story. We appreciate that you engage with other authors in the community.

Keep writing, @cool08!

Ok, I will check it out again. Thanks a lot..

Wow this is great. Somehow I feel bad for Kenzie😂

Love can really be quite intoxicating and no wonder people always say love is blind. Nice story you have here
