I like the way you develop this story. You introduce us to Mr. Godswill in the first paragraph. You explain the relationship between Mr. Godswill and Henry, so we are not surprised by the older man's intervention. The surprise you save is that Mr. Godswill was once a police superintendent. Lucky Henry!

The ending of this story is very satisfying. Thank you for writing.

Unlike Shakespeare's popular words that the evil that men do lives after them, in this story, the good that Henry did saved him afterwards!
