Minerva is a teacher in a school, she loves very much with nature, she had a childhood and heartfelt wish that whenever she has enough money, she will take a long break from her school to travel to some snowy hill station, and fulfil all her dreams.
These days, a physical trainer Tony was posted in her school, he was a person of very fit personality, along with there were some magnetic effects in his behaviour, due to which all the senior girl students and female teachers of the school were attracted to him.
Whenever there was a chance in school, discussions were going on about him, but Tony did not pay attention to these discussions, nor did he take any interest in any girl student. In fact, he had been impressed by Minerva's simplicity ever since he was posted at the school, and thought he would express his friendship with her whenever he got the right chance.
And by chance he got this opportunity one day at the annual function of the college, Minerva was sitting in a corner away from the crowd sipping a drink, Tony suddenly reached in front of her and said can I sit in front of you, Minerva Said I don't mind, you can sit down here.
Both of them kept talking about their family etc. after some time, then suddenly Tony proposed to her marriage, at first Minerva was stunned, then she thought this is the right boy, there will be no harm in friendship or marriage, yet she decided to marry him. But yet she asked him for two days’ time on the pretext of taking her father's permission.

She reached home and told the whole thing to his father, the father was happy with Tony's proposal and he immediately gave his consent to marry him. Within the next few days, both of them got married in a small ceremony in the church. Only a few people gathered in this simple marriage.
Tony was living alone in a small flat in the city, he did not even have many household goods, so in some 2-3 days both of them bought and decorated that flat for their living, and gathered all the items needed for a newlywed couple.
They had also received some jewellery at the wedding as gifts, but Minerva was not particularly interested in wearing jewellery, so she kept all the jewellery openly in her cupboard.
The next week of marriage, both of them went to a hill station to celebrate their honeymoon, where both of them had a lot of fun, Minerva's childhood dream also came true.
But when they both returned home, they found that the main door of their house was open and Minerva's jewellery and some cash had been stolen from the flat.
A thief had crashed the house from behind after they went on their honeymoon and stolen those things, Tony immediately filed a First Information Report with the city police, and the police team came and inspected the place of the theft but no evidence or fingerprints were Found, perhaps the thief had comfortably wiped all the places with the help of cloth before leaving.
When the investigator opened the fridge out of curiosity, he found kept some food items in it, only then his eyes fell on a small piece of aluminium foil lying in the corner of the room.
The investigator, with the help of a forensic team investigator, carefully picked up the piece of foil with a clip, put it in a polythene bag and sent it to the forensic lab for fingerprint examination.
After investigation, a clear impression of an unknown thumb was found on that piece of foil. The thief was caught within 2 days by matching the fingerprints of the identified criminals.
Actually, when the thief entered the house, he saw the food in the fridge and maybe he was also hungry, he took out the foil of the packet wrapped with that food foil and threw it in a corner.
And while leaving the house, the thief cleaned all his fingerprints from all the places there, but he forgot a small part of this small piece of foil, thus a small mistake of the thief caught him.
Because it is said that every criminal no matter how careful he is, he leaves some clues at the crime scene.
All the goods and ornaments were recovered from him, now he is in jail.
It's fun to read a story that has such a clever twist. This is novel: a hungry burglar leaves a thumbprint on foil, after he raids the refrigerator. We get the image of this crook unknowingly setting a trap for himself by stopping to eat food!

@theinkwell It was natural to think of the refrigerator and the foil coming together, no one throws all the food items away, because there are preservatives in the food. The cunning thief had to make a mistake, otherwise, why would he have been caught? Many thanks for the explanation of the story, you guys keep the same eye as you check the copy of the exam.

@grindan Thank you very much, you understood that even though the Minerwa did not have any special attachment to jewellery, it was her asset, and the thief was caught soon after that foil was found there.

I really liked your story. It was nice to read it and the use of the word aluminum in the plot was very ingenious. I could imagine everything that happened because it was very well narrated.

@popurri I would like to tell you that the foil which is used to pack food items in our country is called silver or aluminium foil in the common language, so both the names go on the tongue. I don't even know what metal they are from.
