@mrnightmare.net, we're assuming you didn't intend for this story to be for last week's writing prompt, "The moment when." But it actually would have worked well, since the people of the village have a major realization that they have forsaken the gifts of the sea! :-)

Actually, I've read it and I thought that my piece has the criteria. Although, I wanted to write with my own title. You know, some ego thing but next time I'll participate for sure. Thank you and sorry for not placing the title prompt.
That's okay. It's entirely up to you, @mrnightmare.net. But just so you know, there is no requirement to use the story prompt in the title. Should we add that to the rules to make it clear?
Oh really..Maybe it would be nice to be clearer but it's up to you guys. It's your initiative after all.
