RE: Hypno (Unlikely Hero?)

in The Ink Well4 years ago

I enjoyed your style of writing. It's modern and quick paced. You capture the scene of being a traveler in New York very well. I am not clear about the ending, however. So, the tramp did rob him? How did he manage it? Is Mr. Hartano the unlikely hero because he has agreed to go ahead with the contract? Overall, I think it's a well written story. I'm just a bit confused about the last bit. Cheers!

Thank you @litguru. Honestly, my writing was actually almost as confusing as my idea. I wrote it without starting with a foundation of ideas. Everything works. Some of my writings are actually very absurd, but I really like that, I don't even want to be interfered with by the flow in my head. Yes, Kobayashi is a businessman who was hypnotized by the same person who had helped him, namely the man who he considered a tramp. For Hartono, yes, for now, Kobayashi would be very grateful to him.

It's a great technique to start with an idea and just go with it. Thank you for the clarification. I suspected he had gotten hypnotized somehow. Great theme.
