The grounds, smooth with grass tickled her bare feet. She enjoyed it for a short while, closed her eyes, and breathed in the cool fresh air. The scent stayed in her lungs as she absorbed more Earthly smell: the rusty mineral-rich soil and rocks; the minty blend of various fragrant leaves; the sweet and juicy hint of different flowers in their full bloom; the pungent smell of trash bins ransacked by rummaging animals; the smell of ingested grassy manure from all sorts of cattle; and the rancid rotten everything. - @idlemind

The girl came out of her thoughts, but she became more serious. She was staring at the coffee mug, as if asking him for permission to talk or not. The girl’s calmness was putting the young man in a kind of anxiety. Here, the young woman seemed to be lost somewhere in the past. She wanted to grab some edge where to start, but could not reach the exact point. -@rayt2

Bill grabbed his white cane and left his apartment. Twelve steps towards his left then turn right was the stairs leading towards the ground floor. Upon reaching the stairs he grabbed hold of the handrails and slowly went down while counting the steps. “7 steps then turn and then another 7 steps… then voilà.” He mused himself. -@khoola

Like a sharp knife, a ray of sunlight that was secretly hurrying to enter through the crack of the window, penetrates through the skin of some tired and closed eyelids, as if they were imprisoned in shackles. Suddenly, faced with the unbearable sensation of being penetrated by a laser, Peter jumps out of bed, already giving up the fight against this torture. -@marbrym

As Jacqueline moved towards the city walls, she noticed the guards were absent from their usual post. She quickly moved in through the gates and towards the market hoping to find her son. Once at the market where Jacqueline expected smirks, she realized that she found none but instead most of the stall owners were headed towards the city square. -@piratethanos

“Pop, what’s that?” asked Gina as she stared at her father, sitting on his rickety old chair. He had an old wooden box of black and white photos, and objects Gina had never seen before. Out of all the weird stuff in the box, Gina could only recognize a few, and knew the name for even less like the huge hourglass or that green glass inkwell. -@restcity
