Crapitalism needs banksters, of some type to maintain its hierarchy.
As long as I have to abide by rulers over money, nothing has changed.
The rich will still control the world with their wealth.
Until wealth becomes a liability, nothing has changed.
We can let the rich keep their mcmansions, jets, jewels, bunkers, etc, there is no need to dispossess them.
When they can't find maintenance people because everybody is off fulfilling their own dreams, the old way of doing things will crumble in upon itself.
We simply move forward by continuing to do all the work while refusing to sell that work for wages only to agree to buy back our own labor at a discount(corporate profits).
Why we swallowed that deal is beyond me.
To clarify, the folks that filled the shelves at the big box stores continue to fill the stores while everybody else continues to do their work, and we all get one share of that collective work.
We simply order online, and some time in the future the delivery person delivers our order.
I'd think the wait would vary by supply.
Want a maserati, wait a few months.
Want basic transportation, use the app to get one delivered.
Through with something, send it back to the refurbishing place for redistribution.
If one leaves a working car, what exactly, has been consumed?
Once people catch onto the efficiency of this management system, waste will become something only criminals do.
And, we will retire to old folks' homes in space.
The only path to FREEDOM is SELF-SUFFICIENCY (independence).
And SELF-SUFFICIENCY is the antithesis of SOCIETY (interdependence).
If each person on earth could live tax-free on their own land and grow and forage enough food to feed themselves, there would be no such thing as SOCIETY (we'd be an unaffiliated collective of hermits and family based tribes).
SOCIETY itself, and its mandatory implicit social-contract is the "problem" we need to "solve".
The key vulnerability of an unaffiliated collective of hermits and family based tribes (UCOHAFBT) is that ANY cohesive SOCIETY can overpower ANY independent individual or tribe and take their goods and force them to market their labor with either the direct threat of FORCE or by impairing their ability to feed themselves, incentivizing them to abandon their independence and instead, market their goods and labor as a member of the SOCIETY.
(IFF) you are a member of a SOCIETY (THEN) you can never be FREE.
and,
(IFF) you are FREE (THEN) you are at the mercy of ANY SOCIETY.
GLOBAL CRISIS = GLOBAL GOVERNMENT.
No, you don't have time to make cars and toilet paper.
If you did, then the computers wouldn't get produced.
Division of labor is important.
This is not a thing, you voluntarily abide by what your parents told you was right.
What the parents tell you can vary by design.
The trick is finding the right design.
No one is free, if not all are free.
Rule by force has to come off the table.
Rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic won't cut it this time.
Were this meme to viralize the population, we could have freedom tuesday next tuesday.
(IFF) you consider an automobile a "necessity" (THEN) you are a slave to INDUSTRY (not free).
(IFF) you consider a computer a "necessity" (THEN) you are a slave to INDUSTRY (not free).
I am a consumer, if there are no consumer goods I am not living to my full potential.
Who is gonna chose to go back to a lack of things because you don't have the wherewithall to make them yourself?
Nobody wants to give up consumer goods, and with proper management they won't have to.
Are you suggesting that all forms of INDUSTRY be converted to EMPLOYEE OWNED HOLACRACIES and run like public utilities for the common-good?
Are you suggesting we convert to a neutral monetary system like GOLD and or BITCOIN?
Although this sounds pretty nice, I still don't see how it's going to fix the population collapse problem.
Kinda, many of those words lose their meanings in the absence of money, and violent domination by those that have a bunch of it.
No.
This gives a general outline, but gets bogged down in details better left to the those on the scene, imo.
I'd think population collapse would be a plus, on the whole.
Bad for those that got to go, but more for the rest of us.
So, what population collapse?
Without electricity and oil, the earth can sustain about 553.96 million souls.

If you want to stay alive, you will have to learn to live without electricity and oil.
CONVENIENCE (and sugar/salt addiction) and the inability of the commoners to GROW THEIR OWN FOOD.
This is very true.
'Please sir, can I have the brain/computer interface and the sensory deprivation tank now?
I'd like to be a battery.'
When their life comes out of the flashylight box preprogrammed for them, why wouldn't they?
It would beat having a job, to most of them.
Hell, I'm tempted.
Good point.
I think they're just using us to train their hyperintelligent AI for the moment, and then they'll just abandon about 6 billion of us to starvation.
That is what the gamers are doing, teaching the ai how to think like a human.
Or, maybe they are controlling drones somewhere else.
