Hello hivers, fashion and fashion lovers, this time I present my entry to the fashion initiative Hive's red Carpet fashion community focused on educating, informing and motivating us about fashion, each month they have a theme and a color, September is about purple and also expose a piece inspired by Hive, you can check their profile for more information.
Cuando vi la iniciativa de este mes no lo tuve claro, hasta que empecé a desglosar lo que ha sido la plataforma para mi. Hive, que en español es colmena, de donde viene la miel con ese color brillante y vibrante, dulce como la mayoría de las comunidades donde comparto, es muy importante para mi, es la motivación constante para avanzar y seguir educando en cuanto a la costura, dibujo y otras manualidades que me gustan. Hive para mi es el mejor regalo que internet me ha dado, por eso la forma del top es un lazo, como esos que decoran los regalitos.
When I saw this month's initiative it was not clear to me, until I started to break down what the platform has been for me. Hive, which in Spanish is colmena, where honey comes from with that bright and vibrant color, sweet like most of the communities where I share, is very important to me, it is the constant motivation to move forward and continue educating in terms of sewing, drawing and other crafts that I like. Hive for me is the best gift the internet has given me, that's why the shape of the top is a bow, like those that decorate the gifts.
Sin embargo para mi la combinación y contraste es importante, por eso usé el color rojo del logo de Hive para el centro del top y los tirantes, lo cual le da un toque más divertido y le da mucho más luz. Es una blusa muy cómoda, hecha con tela Sofía, es de mis licras favoritas porque es muy duradera y tiene una textura muy particular, la cual permite jugar y cruzar muchos estilos, yo está blusa la usaré constantemente en el verano, para pasear a algún mall, tomar desayuno o un brunch.
However for me the combination and contrast is important, so I used the red color of the Hive logo for the center of the top and straps, which gives it a more fun touch and gives it much more light. It is a very comfortable blouse, made with Sofia fabric, it is one of my favorite lycra because it is very durable and has a very particular texture, which allows to play and cross many styles, I will use this blouse constantly in the summer, to walk to a mall, have breakfast or a brunch.
Este top reúne todo lo que la plataforma significa para mí, porque me impulsa a dibujar mis diseños, innovar e inventar en ellos. También he de confesar que desde que inicié acá me he vuelto más sociable, más atrevida con la cámara y lo más importante más disciplinada, pues Hive es la confirmación de que si es posible monetizar mi arte, producto, el contenido en sí.
This top brings together everything that the platform means to me, because it drives me to draw my designs, innovate and invent in them. I must also confess that since I started here I have become more sociable, more daring with the camera and most importantly more disciplined, because Hive is the confirmation that it is possible to monetize my art, product, the content itself.
Y bueno, ahora con Hive’s Red Carpet revivió ese cariño por la moda, las tendencias y estar más atenta con lo que pasa en ese mundo. Lo cual agradezco mucho pues es una fascinación para mi siempre encontrar el arte inspirador en pasarela, diseñador y pieza. Pues si de algo estoy segura es que somos lienzos andantes, es increíble como una vestimenta refleja el humor, marca una época y te lleva a innovar.
And well, now with Hive's Red Carpet revived that love for fashion, trends and be more attentive to what happens in that world. Which I am very grateful for because it is a fascination for me to always find inspiring art on the catwalk, designer and piece. If there is one thing I am sure of, it is that we are walking canvases, it is incredible how a garment reflects the mood, marks an era and leads you to innovate.
Para ir cerrando mi entrada me gustaría motivar a participar a mi querida @lauramica una viajera y costurera increíble quien tiene un toque muy sensual en su confección, me encantaría ver qué logra con ese don e inspiración. Y por otro lado a mi admirada @monica-ene quién es genial combinando y haciendo contraste con unos estampados bellísimos. También aprovecho de felicitar y agradecer a mi querida @yulilemus02 quién ganó la iniciativa pasada, para mi ella es una genia en esto.
To close my post I would like to encourage my dear @lauramica, an incredible traveler and seamstress who has a very sensual touch in her clothing, I would love to see what she achieves with that gift and inspiration. And on the other hand to my admired @monica-ene who is great at combining and contrasting with beautiful prints. I also take this opportunity to congratulate and thank my dear @yulilemus02 who won the last initiative, for me she is a genius in this.
