I saw your Mom's post on your blog, just awful what a year you all had, but your younger aunt sounds like she's got her head screwed on right, making the most of life.
Your oil painting looks good thanks to a very creative outfit using stuff from your cupboard, but I like that candid shot with the candles. That would make a very authentic period painting!
