@knowhow92 I would suggest to better delegate the 50K HP to @skatehive account (instead the @steemskate account) if that is not a problem with your voting process, because I "hate" to see top votes from an account that includes the "steem" word! Just a suggestion, if you prefer to leave it as it is currently NP. Just let me know ;)

We are still curating with the steemskate account because all our delegations are in the @steemskate account and same with our curation trail. There is a 0.40$ upvote for all skaters from our curation trail too thanks to @matt-a.
I didn't want to bombard people with a lot of "what to do" info at our first post so that's why I decided to leave it like this for now.
Our plan is to stop using the @steemskate account sooner or later so if you want you can delegate to @skatehive and I can write a post telling people to pull their delegations from @steemskate and instead delegate to @skatehive

Not sure if am at the right place... I used to be on Steemit and suddenly found it has forked. Am loving Hive so far...
Btw, how can I create my own community?? Can't seem to find that option anywhere
Hit the + symbol on communities home page. There is a small fee in hive to create your new community. It will actually create a second account besides the one you have now, and give you all of your keys. Be sure to save all of those keys. Your account you use now to create the community will be set as an admin, and the new account is the owner. You can use the new password for the new account to log in and edit the new community that you create, and set any rules, descriptions, add admins and mods.

However, I did find a workaround. Instead of peakd.com, I went to hive.blog and there in communities is a text link called 'Create a community' and that's what I used to make https://peakd.com/c/hive-155350/created
