In this post I'll talk about the Mindless Thrall card in Splinterlands; it will be a great help when it comes to dealing damage and dodging attacks.
In my posts I like to talk about Arcade Colony, so let's learn a little about this gaming platform.
Arcade Colony

Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features.
For more information about the platform, read the Whitepapper.
There are 4 games in Arcade Colony and they are:
My main focus is on Splinterlands and Moon Karts because they are the most fun and profitable.
Remember that this is not an investment tip, so research these games before making any investment in them.
You can also find information on the Arcade Colony Discord server.
Let's continue talking about the Mindless Thrall card in Splinterlands.

Mindless Thrall is a card from the new Reward Set, which means you can only obtain it from Glint's shop or by buying it from other players in the Splinterlands card market.
To obtain cards from the new Reward Set from Glint's shop you have 2 options:
- Buy Rarity Draws
- Buy Loot Chests.
If your focus is solely on the cards from the new Reward Set, then I recommend buying Rarity Draws, but if you enjoy testing your luck to obtain other rewards, then Loot Chests are the best option for you.
I will soon make a post explaining the Glint Shop in detail; for now, the focus is only on the Mindless Thrall card.
The Mindless Thrall card has a high mana cost and the disadvantage of not having much health or armor, but it has good attack speed, so it won't be easy to hit this card. Another reason why Mindless Thrall is a good card is its magic attack; it's the type of card that will deal a lot of damage during battle.
Let's look at the abilities of the Mindless Thrall card.
Phase

Magic attacks have the same chance to miss as physical attacks.
Oppress

Deals double damage to no-attack targets—even those with Weapons Training.
Relentless Strike

Attacks deal true damage. +1 damage if the target has Void, Shield, or Forcefield.
As I mentioned before, Mindless Thrall is a great card when it comes to dodging attacks and dealing damage.
Let's see Mindless Thrall in action at max level on the battlefield.

BATTLE
A battle with a risky strategy but that was a lot of fun to watch because my Mindless Thrall card reached 12 attack speed and became a real attack-dodging machine.
In this strategy, I want to protect my frontline and backline with cards that have a high chance of dodging attacks. So, in the last position, I selected Chaos Agent, which was also a great ally, dodging attacks and dealing damage. But the star of the battle was Mindless Thrall, which defeated my opponent's Pelacor Conjurer with just one attack.
Since I don't yet have the Mindless Thrall card, I used Practice Mode to test it.

These are the settings I use in Practice Mode to test the cards from the new Reward Set.
