Merhaba arkadaşlar. Umarım iyisinizdir ve sağlığınız yerindedir. Bu sabah yağmurla uyandığıma mutlu oldum. Günlerdir aralıksız olarak yanan ormanlarımızın söndürülmesine umarım olumlu etki gösterecektir. Ağustos ayında Antalya'da pek yağmur görülmez. Güzel yağıyor. Kış yağmurları gibi; bardaktan boşanırcasına.
Yesterday we went for ice cream with my niece and her friends. So only the kids ate it because I haven't been eating ice cream since I stopped eating sugar. They were not very keen on returning home after the ice cream. Of course, they are very tired of staying at home. On the one hand, they hear about the pandemic, on the other hand, they hear news of fire, and their psychology is negatively affected. That's why we decided to tour a little more and went first to the Toy museum and then to the Fairy Tale Park. It was an incredibly beautiful day.
Önceki gün yeğenim ve arkadaşlarıyla dondurma yemeğe gittik. Tabii biraz biri yer biri bakar durumu oldu, çünkü şekerli beslenmeyi bıraktığımdan beri dondurma yemiyorum. Çocuklar dondurma sonrasında pek eve dönmeye hevesli değillerdi. Tabii evde kalmaktan fazlasıyla bunaldılar. Bir taraftan pandemi olayları, diğer taraftan yangın haberleri derken iyice psikolojileri bozuluyor. O yüzden biraz daha gezmeye karar verdik ve önce Oyuncak müzesine sonra da Masal parka gittik. İnanılmaz güzel bir gündü.
Last time I visited the toy museum, I wrote that I didn't have enough time there. Since thousands of toys are exhibited in the museum, it is absolutely essential to visit there several times to examine them all. This time, I took pictures of the toys that I did not mention on my last trip and I want to share them with you. And then we will take a trip to Masal Park.
Geçen sefer oyuncak müzesini ziyaret ettiğimde oraya zamanımın yetmediğini yazmıştım. Müzede binlerce oyuncak sergilendiğinden hepsini incelemek için birkaç kere ziyaret etmek kesinlikle şart. Bu kez geçen gezimde anlatmadığım oyuncakları sizlerle paylaşmak istiyorum. Ve sonrasında da Masal park'a bir gezi yapacağız.
Anatolian Toy Museum (Anadolu Oyuncak Müzesi)

First we stopped by the garage section. The toy cars and vehicles here are worth seeing. This was one of the children's favorite parts.
Önce garaj bölümüne uğradık. Buradaki oyuncak arabalar ve araçlar görülmeye değer. Çocukların en çok sevdikleri bölümlerden biri burası oldu.

Real Hair Doll (Gerçek Saçlı Bebek)
The story of this doll is very sad. During the Second World War, the officers in the concentration camps cut the hair of little girls before they killed them and made dolls using this hair. This is how real hair dolls were made. The children of the officers used to play with these dolls.
Bu oyuncak bebeğin hikayesi çok acıklı. 2. Dünya savaşı sırasında toplama kamplarındaki subaylar küçük kız çocuklarını öldürmeden önce saçlarını kesip oyuncak bebeklere saç yapmışlar. Gerçek saçlı bebekler böyle ortaya çıkmış. Subayların çocukları bu bebeklerle oynarlarmış.

Antique Toys (Eski Oyuncaklar)
In this section, copies of the ancient toys of Anatolia are exhibited. These cavalry were found from children's graves and belong to 500 BC.
Bu bölümde Anadolunun kadim oyuncaklarının birer kopyası sergileniyor. Bu süvariler çocuk mezarlarından bulunmuş olup m.ö. 500 yılına ait.
Yet another ancient toy - oxcart. It belongs to the years 3000-1700 BC.
Yine başka bir antik oyuncak - öküz kağnısı. M.ö. 3000-1700 yıllarına ait.
These are also antique rattles.

This cute wheeled dog was found in Mexican tombs. It belongs to the years 1500-1400 BC.

After spending some time in the garden, we say goodbye to the toys with the idea that we will come here again.
Müzede çok çok fazla, binlerce oyuncak var. Bahçede de biraz vakit geçirdikten sonra buraya yeniden gelmek üzere veda ediyoruz.
Toy Museum General Information (Genel Bilgiler)
The toy museum is located in the Dokuma district. It is right next to the Ozdilek shopping mall. It is approximately 4 km from Antalya city center and 16 km from the airport. You can get here by bus or by your own car.
Opening and closing hours: 08:30-18:00. It closes at 19:00 on weekends. (closed on Mondays).
The ticket price is 7 lira (approx. 0.81 USD) for adults. Child discounts aren't available.
Oyuncak müzesi Dokuma semtinde yer alıyor. Özdilek adlı alışveriş merkezinin hemen yan tarafındadır. Antalya şehir merkezine yaklaşık 4 km, havalimanına 16 km uzaklıktadır. Buraya otobüslerle ya da kendi aracınızla ulaşabilirsiniz.
Açılış kapanış saatleri: 08:30-18:00. Hafta sonları 19:00'da kapanıyor. Pazartesileri kapalıdır.
Bilet ücreti yetişkinler için 7 liradır. Çocuklara indirim yapılıyor.
Fairy Tale Park (Kepez Masal Park)
After our toy museum tour, we went to the Kepez fairy tale park. Another name for this place is the fairy tale island. There are models of various fairy tale heroes in the open air. The children loved this place and had happy moments. The park also includes an olympic-size swimming pool and cafes.
It was my first visit here. I delayed it because it was a bit far from the center. But if you have children, it is one of the places I would definitely recommend you to visit. We loved this place.
Oyuncak müzesi gezimizden sonra Kepez masal parka gittik. Buranın bir diğer adı da masal adası. Açık havada çeşitli masal kahramanlarının maketleri yer alıyor. Çocuklar burayı çok sevdiler ve mutlu dakikalar yaşadılar. Parkın içinde ayrıca olimpik yüzme havuzu ve cafeler de yer alıyor.
Buraya ilk kez gidiyordum. Merkeze biraz uzak olduğu için ertelemiştim. Ama kesinlikle çocuklarınız varsa mutlaka gidin diyebileceğim erlerden biri. Ben çok sevdim, çocuklar da öyle.

Fairy Tale Park is located in Antalya Kepez. This place is about 12 km from the city center. The entrance is free.

Beautiful display of toys through the ages, except the story about real hair used for dolls, how sad yet good to preserve the history.
Fairy tales to ancient toys what a wonderful way to get the children out to forget about some of the awful days we are living through.

They could also be used for 3D animations, movies or even video games. They would certainly be fun. Nowadays we already have the technology for this. A few good developers and animators, and we have a good indie game. 🙂
But the real hair used for dolls sounds like a little bit disturbing. I also heard about haunted dolls. Maybe those have something to do with the real hair on them. Who knows.

Never liked dolls, many creep you out just looking at them.
Teddy bears, trains, cars and robots all good fun. Antique wooden toys a good reminder of what children played with also interesting.

Burayı okuyunca içimde bir şeyler koptu sanki. Tarihin acı ama görmezden geldiğimiz yüzü sanırım bazen bu şekilde kendini hatırlatıyor.
Bu aralar kedi bakıcılığı yapıyorum. Geçirdiği kazadan sonra hareketlerini kısıtlamam gerekiyor. Bu yüzden günümün büyük bir çoğunluğu aman kızım diye diye onun peşinde geçiyor. Sanırım biraz daha böyle devam edeceğiz :D.

Oyuncak müzelerini gezmek gerçekten çok eğlenceli. Bebeğin hikayesini paylaşıp paylaşmamayı çok düşündüm aslında. Normalde böyle üzücü şeyler yazmayı sevmiyorum. Ama üstünü kapatmak gibi olurdu gördükten sonra yazmamak.
Midilli atın sahibi çocuk iyileşmiş evet 🙂 Ve çok uzun yaşamış. Atı onun 83 yaşındaki kardeşi müzeye hediye etmiş.
