BRO NEWSPAPER | ISSUE 13 | 2022
Hello BROs. Here we are again with another newspaper. Of course we're going to look briefly at all the news that the Hive Blockchain has to offer this week.
We try to keep you informed of tribes in which we have invested with Brofund, so that you as a BRO-Holder have also invested indirectly in those projects. Because of this it can happen that you see some tribes often, and others not at all. This has nothing to do with the tribe itself, or that these tribes are not active. It only has to do with the fact that we have not (yet) invested in it. Since @raymondspeaks is always on the lookout for projects on Hive-Engine that he wants to support, this can change from week to week.
We have decided not to include more than 3 projects per week in the Bro Newspaper. This makes it easier for you to read, and you don't get an abundance of information. And if were you, I would pay close attention to those three projects, because that could become very interesting in a short time. For now, let's just say that your time and attention could pay for itself!

TRIBE & PROJECT NEWS
THE MANCAVE
There's Mancave news! And not just any news, but really big news. From April you can gain much more insight into @brofund's investments. How? Because from then on Brofund will post a blog about every week with background information about certain projects, those will all be projects that @brofund has invested in. But that's not all there is to say about it. The blog is posted, and you can do your homework, and ask your questions. That's right, asking your questions...because the day after the blog is posted Ray will be discussing the projects that have been written about in his STREAMS. And of course there is also room to answer your questions.
We will of course let you know when the streams start (planning to start from april), so keep an eye on the @brofund account in the coming weeks.

LEOFINANCE
We haven't written anything about the launch of PolyCUB, simply because many others have already written about it. No one has missed it. And that it is a success has not escaped anyone's attention. We don't have to add anything more to that.
But what is interesting is that we have heard that both Hive and HBD are going to have liquidity pools on Polygon. The recent AMA talked about this, and have heard rumors that the pairing will be with USDC. Whether this is the case, I'll leave that in the middle. We'll see it when the time is there.
Another question is what do you think about a Leofest? Hmmm, maybe a Brofest should also be considered... Think about it, as we go on with our newspaper
We've had two Hive Tribes, and the last project for this weeks Newspaper is an offchain project. A project that is kicking asses!
EMP MONEY
If there's one thing we can say for sure about EMP, it's "EMP is crushing it." I've seen several algo protocols, but none are as innovative as EMP. The EMP team really does everything they can to become a one-stop-shop. The latest new addition to the protocol is NODES.
Example. You buy a nano node for 500 EMP, and you're going to earn 2000 EMP with a staggering APY. The APY fluctuates with the peg. So when EMP is over peg, your APY is higher than when EMP is below peg. But the only difference is your time to ROI. For every node you buy you will get back 4x your EMP over time! After you earned 4x your investment, that node stops paying out. But you could've bought another node way before the first one stops paying out EMP. How powerful is this?
In addition, EMP has entered into a new partnership with a well-known twitter influencer. Do you follow James Pelton on Twitter? He has about 23K followers, and he says he was blown away by the EMP team. And thought the way the tokenomics works was the best he'd ever seen. If that isn't bullish news for EMP. @abrockman and team are rocking it! Keep on going!

CONTESTS & CHALLENGES
As we know all too well, sometimes it's hard to figure out what to write about. How often does it happen to you that you have no idea? I have to admit it happens to me regularly. Hmmm, maybe I just don't have a life. In any case, I have to say that I am very happy with the possibilities that Hive offers me, because there are always contests to be found! And those contests make it easy. They give me a topic to blog about, and once I've found a topic, the inspiration comes naturally. If you run into this too, don't worry. Every week I try to find a diversity of contests that you can participate in. It can also be a great way to give your portfolio a little boost, and it's often good for more engagement on your blog.
Before you participate, check the announcement blog so that you see what the rules are.
I don't want to overflow the BRO Newspaper with contests, so if you want to find more, go ahead. There are plenty that I didn't mention here. But for us it's time to see if there's some juicy gossip to share.

@qam2112 has a deep wish that there was a vaccine for fences to fight the wind
I guess that's what is happening when you have a bit of trouble with your fence after a strong wind has blown it to pieces.
Sometimes people in Listnerds complain that they got a downvote on them. Whereupon @jongolson tells them that they should do their best. That he himself is always downvoted, but he doesn't care at all ... @blainjones agrees completely.

@notacinephile is a good writer, that will be no secret to anyone following the Cine Newspaper. But I have to say that I have recently gained even more respect for that. Now that I know he identifies himself as a cup of coffee… Which provoked another response from @papacrusher that he was terribly behind on coffee consumption.
Is the Notacinephile still safe? And hasn't Papacrusher secretly turned into a notacinphile crusher? Is this all okay?
@amirtheawesome1 is good at writing comedic messages, he can also write serious messages. We already knew that he has a vivid imagination. But did you also know that he also manages to turn plums into evil villains that destroy buildings?
How this could have happened is also a mystery to me, but hey, there now seems to be an army of Easter bunnies hopping around Baghdad to solve this problem. Hopefully Amir is safe again...or has found the right help.
