Inspired by the LEO tribe's market talk posts here, I'd like to take a moment to see if we can get a discussion going in our community. One thing that absolutely stops me from blogging on here is the lack of engagement I get on my own posts. Perhaps this is my own failing since @sidwrites seems to get a tonne on his. Or, perhaps it's my own content that I write about and that other people, whilst reading and enjoying it feel to uncomfortable to share.
Nevertheless, let's see what sort of Bro-talk we can come up with in the mean time. I will be accepting the rewards for this post because we're all about growth here at the Man Cave, but I will make this post worth it, and not just a two liner.
So, what can we discuss today?

So, where to begin Bro's? Let's start at finance, since that seems to be a bulk of that talk in the man cave these days:
Btc for the moment stands at $11,820 what are your thoughts? Have you made any brovestments recently for the upcoming crypto season? Any new coins that peak your fancy?
We recently plunged a few hundred hive into Kryptogamers token on hive engine. As a test, dividends have been sweet so far!
Also, we plunged head first into Archon, as to which our investment has rose to over +50% in the last few days. Sweet! Not long until that coin/miner is super rare.
World news
Poland pulls out of the European Treaty on Violence Against women. Some good news in my eyes. The media had smeared them as a nation of wife beaters, but their newly elected president (a man with traditional values) read the fine print of the treaty, which was all about changing the social structure of his country. What are your thoughts?
The rising tensions in America - Black Lives Matter has somewhat transformed into a full on communist hate group. Although I understand that most people have good intentions and this is probably not what the large portion of people think, but groups are only as important as their leaders. And when leaders shout kill all men, talk about white people are racist, and live in a world that just doesn't seem to coincide with my reality, I begin to start thinking differently. You're welcome to disagree with me!
The erasing of history. This is an important one for me. In the UK we have BLM supporters running around taking down statues of "white men" that were once slave traders or racist, but in my mind if we don't truly understand, appreciate or know about our history then we are destined to repeat it. Tearing down statues accomplishes nothing. We don't fight hate with more hate. What are your thoughts?
Coronavirus
How are you Dad's holding up? My son is handling the lockdown really well. His mum is keeping him occupied as I stay your humble servant, but I still have plenty of time to mess around with him. My wife and I are still happy, and realistically nothing has changed for us.
That's not the case with a lot of people though. I've had no end of friends tell me that their relationships are going down the shitter. It's a tough time right now, how are you guys holding up?

Cyberpunk 2077 is very nearly here. To be honest I've been waiting on this game for many, many years. I can't honestly wait until it's released.

Honestly? We don't see much of this right now because the entire western world is focusing on bolstering women, so there's absolutely nothing in the media that I can find of a positive manly nature. So if you have a story then please share it! :)
Hmm, don't know much about archon, but I've recently been making it to their top posts picks list quite often! Also would love to get some idea about kryptogamers! Seems I've missed a lot the last week.
Kryptogamers is a coin from a gambling platform. I'm not a fan of these games, but I do like to invest in the platforms themselves. I bought up a couple of million coins for a few hundred hive and dividends are between 1-3 hive per day so far. Not bad :)
Ah I see, I stay pretty far from gambling sites lol! But 1-3 hives per day on few hundred hives is as good as it gets I guess!

Yes, I noticed archon miners price going up. I think one of the BROs at mancave has something to do with it...? I just can't remember who it was.
Yeah I dont track that stuff closely although I do believe Ray was picking some up himself.
I am not sure if it was out of a personal account or for BRO itself.

Steemit powering down is an indication that Sun is done and dusted with that shitshow.
However, I doubt he will get himself into a mess with this community again, he has tarnished his reputation enough lol!
That would make sense but he rarely, in my view, acts sensibly. It seems he gets something in his mind and keeps at it.

I recently discovered Harmony blockchain and have been throwing a few dollars in there when I can. Currently staking for about 12% rewards to my current validator. Very decentralized and scalable. I've been converting some Hive engine tokens into BRO as well. Loving the daily returns.
Tossing a few Hive to BRO is a good idea in our opinion. 😁
But then we might be a bit biased.

Yeah that is something I dont think most get. Each and everything we do on here affects multiple layers. It was one of the reasons for a post like this, to help engagement (and the numbers) of Hive.
The blockchain needs more engagement and maybe BRO can start something.

EOS has been somewhat of a letdown for me. I put a decent chunk of early steem earnings and a lot of mining earnings into it. Now it isnt worth much at all. Which is a pain in the butt!

Very rare I meet cryptonians that understand Maslow's Hierarchy.
It's all we can do in essence. If we can't work then we'll have to at least have the bottom two covered or we'll have a shitstorm on our hands.
Well the fact people tie their self worth to their work is at the core of the issue. What if it wasnt that way and automation took care of the lower levels?
Is that possible? I think we are not far off (within a decade). The key will be distribution. As it stands now, this will make a handful of people uber wealthy (even moreso than they are now) and will leave the rest struggling to get a decent meal.
That is why I feel decentralization is so important.

Well, I think it's all about being active. I know I'm more mentally well spent after I've had a hard day at work, whatever that may be. So if not at work then some building needs to be involved. I know this through experience. I spent an entire two years on sickness benefits and that's the lowest I've ever felt. It wasn't about the money, it was more so about doing something worthwhile and completing it.
Yes well there are many ways to spend time in a "worthwhile" matter.
