Here is a contest by @brofund which is also the mancave community. Do not be deceived by the name, it's for all not just men alone.
The contest is about defining masculinity and my own stems from my DAD with his picture below.
Show me a man who is diligent in his ways and I will show you my dad. He is an example of a typical dad but in a humorous way. He is my best friend and also my brother because we look so much alike so you can call me a manly man Ife.
This man right here taught me all I need to know and he is still teaching me to become an independent woman both financially and morally. From cradle to adulthood, he has been my shadow who silently commends me when I excel in things and reprimand me when I dabble into the bad stuffs. From electrical fixing to plumbing work I know a little bit of all to hold the line before any serious damage happens around the house.
A typical hands on dad when he is around and a provider when he is away on business, he has taught me alot business wise, morally and spiritually. My dad is a 21st century man who doesn't discriminate between the girl child and the male child. We are all equal in his presence and he holds me dearly to heart because my brother and mum complains about his act of favouritism. He takes care of us by providing all necessary amenities we (may) need.
When my dad is at home, he always finds things to be done around the house, from using his hands to uproot the over grown weeds in the compound, to still teaching me how to ride even though I am scared of driving on major road, to fixing the leaking tap in the middle of the night, to preparing his favourite swallow meal for everyone to eat. My dad is an awesome individual and he deserves a place in the mancave community. He is the life of my house and the party if he attends with the family. My father is the BESTEST DADDY in my life.
If you have a dad who is always around and looks out for you, do not hesitate to show him love daily, time is too short to not Love our manly man. Until I get married, my Dad and brother holds the key to my heart.
