Saludos amigos de #hive y #sketchbook, el día de hoy comparto con ustedes está nueva creación de un personaje que realice para empezar a practicar un nuevo estilo, similar al estilo manga o el estilo en los webtoon, además de limitarme a trabajar con una gama de colores con tres colores predominantes y las derivadas de estos, así realizaba un nuevo estilo y de una vez que formará parte de las ilustraciones de la tarea para la Academia de dibujo, como diría por ahí "matar dos pájaros de un tiro".

Greetings friends of hive and sketchbook, today I share with you this new creation of a character that I made to start practicing a new style, similar to manga style or webtoon style, besides limiting myself to work with a range of colors with three predominant colors and derivatives of these, so I made a new style and at once that will be part of the illustrations of the task for the Academy of drawing, as I would say "kill two birds with one stone".

Esta ilustración que realice como muestra de este estilo es para comenzar a trabajar elaborando las ilustraciones de un libro, donde su autora buscaba un ilustrador que diera vida a sus personajes y las escenas épicas descritas en las historias. Además realice esta ilustración teniendo como colores principales el azul, amarillo y el fucsia, utilizando a su vez los tonos de otros colores semejantes a estos, cumpliendo con las condiciones de la asignación de la tarea de dibujo. Por eso decidí que la cabellera fuese rubia y su vestimenta azul, pero que en el fondo se aprecian estos tres tonos, ya que además el fucsia esta en los ojos del personaje.

This illustration that I made as a sample of this style is to start working on the illustrations of a book, where the author was looking for an illustrator to give life to her characters and the epic scenes described in the story. I also made this illustration having as main colors blue, yellow and fuchsia, using at the same time the tones of other colors similar to these, fulfilling the conditions of the drawing assignment. That's why I decided that the hair should be blonde and the clothes blue, but that in the background these three tones should be appreciated, since the fuchsia is also in the character's eyes.

Realicé la base del dibujo con el lápiz digital, utilizando el azul para la elaboración de la pose y el morado para empezar a definirlo. Definiendo sus facciones y cabellera, y diseñando su chaqueta, guante y accesorios.

I made the base of the drawing with the digital pencil, using the blue for the elaboration of the pose and the purple to begin to define it. Defining his features and hair, and designing his jacket, glove and accessories.

Con la tinta china procedí a realizar el trabajo de línea, cambiando algunas proporciones de la base, y posteriormente eliminando las dos primeras capas. Una vez terminado el trabajo de línea realice la base de color, aplicando los colores correspondientes a cada zona.

With the Indian ink I proceeded to do the line work, changing some proportions of the base, and later eliminating the first two layers. Once the line work was finished, I made the color base, applying the corresponding colors to each area.

Apliqué pinceladas de óleo en la chaqueta con varios tonos de azul, para después proceder a degradar con el aerógrafo y realizar retoques de luz y sombra. También detallé el guante y resto de la vestimenta.

I applied oil brushstrokes on the jacket with various shades of blue, and then proceeded to degrade with the airbrush and make touch-ups of light and shadow. I also detailed the glove and the rest of the clothing.

Detallé el cabello usando varios tonos de amarillo, oscureciendo y reforzando la sombra con tonos marrones. Después procedí a detallar la piel, usando varios tonos entre morado y rosado para realizar las sombras, con el blanco realicé pequeños puntos de luz para suavizar la piel y resaltar otras zonas.

I detailed the hair using various shades of yellow, darkening and reinforcing the shadow with brown tones. Then I proceeded to detail the skin, using various shades of purple and pink to make the shadows, with white I made small points of light to soften the skin and highlight other areas.

Realicé las líneas para completar la vestimenta, también detalle la espada en la cadena de su mano y los anillos y péndulo en el collar. Por último detalle los ojos y labios, para proceder con la elaboración del fondo. En este último realice estilo una mini explosión, utilizando fucsia, anaranjado y amarillo, haciendo contraste con la vestimenta y resaltando al personaje.

I made the lines to complete the clothing, I also detailed the sword on the chain of her hand and the rings and pendulum on the necklace. Finally I detailed the eyes and lips, to proceed with the elaboration of the background. In this last one I made a mini explosion style, using fuchsia, orange and yellow, making contrast with the clothes and highlighting the character.

Este dibujo me tomó un tiempo de elaboración de 14 horas y 37 minutos, y una cantidad de 12 capas. La chica del libro quedó encantada con este dibujo, y ahora está emocionada por ver a sus personajes realizados con este estilo. Sin duda empezar la ilustración de este libro es algo nuevo para mi y espero poder realizar un buen trabajo, además de poner en práctica este estilo en distintas situaciones, como momentos épicos de lucha, romance o actividades cotidianas. This drawing took me 14 hours and 37 minutes and 12 layers. The girl in the book was delighted with this drawing, and now she is excited to see her characters done in this style. Without a doubt, starting the illustration of this book is something new for me and I hope to be able to do a good job, as well as put this style into practice in different situations, such as epic moments of fighting, romance or daily activities.
