Espero que ya hayas visto la nueva película de Cruella de Vil protagonizada por la espectacular y bella actriz Emma Stone, ya que esta ilustración esta inspirada en una de las escenas de la película. Una de las escenas que llamó mucho mi atención por la carga emocional que en ella se estaba representando.
Emglish version:
I hope you have already seen the new Cruella de Vil movie starring the spectacular and beautiful actress Emma Stone, since this illustration is inspired by one of the scenes from the film. One of the scenes that caught my attention due to the emotional charge that was being represented in it.
ESCENA DE LA PELÍCULA / Movie scene
Si viste la película seguro sabes que está pasando, porqué ella esta ahí, entiendes la escena y hasta te puedes imaginar por todo lo que el personaje debe estar pasando.
Yo le di mi propia interpretación y la imaginé en un espacio abstracto en donde la oscuridad estaba con ella.
If you saw the movie, you surely know what is happening, why she is there, you understand the scene and you can even imagine what the character must be going through.
I gave her my own interpretation and imagined her in an abstract space where the darkness was with her.
El Boceto:
Hice varios bocetos tratando de hacer la ilustración, no soy muy dibujante de rostros y no trabajo el retrato realista, sin embargo hice algunos intentos que quedaron plasmados en los bocetos, puede que en un futuro decida seguir alguno de esos bocetos y buscar un resultado final. Creo que sería interesante ver ese resultado.
Al final me decidí por una ilustración con un toque de caricatura con un poco al estilo de las chicas de la serie animada The Monster High.
The Sketch:
I made several sketches trying to make the illustration, I am not very a face artist and I do not work on realistic portraits, however I made some attempts that were reflected in the sketches, I may decide in the future to follow some of those sketches and look for a final result . I think it would be interesting to see that result.In the end I decided on an illustration with a touch of caricature with a bit of the style of the girls from the animated series The Monster High.
El Entintado:
Para el entintado utilicé un estilógrafo punta fina de color negro, el cual pueden apreciar en la foto que ven a la derecha de sus pantallas, no dejaré de decir que ese estilógrafo me lo regaló mi hija para el pasado día del padre ¡Gracias hija!
Con mucha paciencia fui delineando y haciendo sombras a la ilustración.
The Inking:
For the inking I used a black fine point stylus, which you can see in the photo you see on the right of your screens, I will not stop saying that this stylus was given to me by my daughter for the past Father's Day Thank you daughter!With a lot of patience I was outlining and shading the illustration.
El Coloreado:
Para el coloreado utilicé varios materiales.
- Colores de madera
- Marcadores a base de agua
- Marcador negro punta fina
- Marcador negro punta mediana
- Pintura acrílica a base de agua
Comencé a colorear por el cabello de Cruella, utilizando un marcador gris para el lado oscuro de su cabello, luego pasé al lado claro del cabello y después coloree la cara, para la cara utilicé los marcadores y en algunas zonas las trabajé con colores de madera.
The Colored:
For the coloring I used various materials.
- Wood colours
- Water-based markers
- Fine point black marker
- Black marker medium tip
- Acrylic water-based paint
I started coloring through Cruella's hair, using a gray marker for the dark side of her hair, then I went to the light side of the hair and then colored the face, for the face I used the markers and in some areas I worked with wood colors .
Al terminar de trabajar con Cruella venía la parte del fondo de la ilustración, no quería que fuera tan oscura ni tampoco tan colorida, empecé a colorear con colores de madera, aplicando algunos verdes y azules, pero la verdad no me convencieron, así que me arriesgué y le di unas pinceladas con tonos verdes mas fuertes aprovechando la intensidad de la pintura acrílica.
De esta parte del proceso no tomé fotos, pero si registré en video la mayor parte de este proceso de coloreado con la pintura acrílica, apenas tenga el video editado se los estaré mostrando a todos ustedes.
When I finished working with Cruella, the background part of the illustration came, I did not want it to be so dark or so colorful, I started coloring with wood colors, applying some greens and blues, but the truth did not convince me, so I I took a risk and gave it some brushstrokes with stronger green tones, taking advantage of the intensity of the acrylic paint.
I did not take photos of this part of the process, but if I recorded on video most of this coloring process with acrylic paint, as soon as I have the edited video I will be showing it to all of you.
Como el trabajo se realizó sobre una hoja de papel bond de reciclaje, tuve que tener mucho cuidado al momento de aplicar la pintura acrílica a base de agua, esto para no dañar el papel bond que es muy delicado con este tipo de pinturas a base de agua como ya dije.
As the work was done on a sheet of recycled bond paper, I had to be very careful when applying the water-based acrylic paint, this so as not to damage the bond paper that is very delicate with this type of paint-based water as I said.
RESULTADO FINAL / Final Result

A pesar que te cuesta hacer rostros, te quedó genial porque es tu esencia artística y me encanta porque me fascinó la película.

Amigo @alarconr22.arte me encantó tu dibujo, me gustaron los colores vivos, pues a pesar de que la escena es muy triste, estos colores junto con la forma de los trazos resalta la fuerza del momento y la fuerza del personaje.
