Greetings friends of the Sketchbook community. I present to you a drawing I made of Chavo del 8. I made the portrait in graphite on thread cardboard paper in a letter-size format placed on thick cardboard and framed with colored cardboard. I really liked the drawing how it turned out, I hope you like it too.
Saludos amigos de la comunidad Sketchbook. Les presento un dibujo que hice del Chavo del 8. El retrato lo realice a grafito sobre papel de cartulina de hilo en un formato tamaño carta puesto sobre cartón y enmarcado con cartulina de color. El dibujo me gusto mucho como quedo, espero que a ustedes también le guste.
About the character// Sobre el personaje:
El Chavo del 8 is one of the most classic comedy programs worldwide, despite the time it is still very relevant. I loved watching this show since I was a child, it always made me laugh out loud. The story tells about the experiences of the boy from apartment 8 known by the neighbors of the community where he lives as the boy from 8, the boy was an orphan so he only shared with the other children of the community and the school, many times received the help of the teacher Jirafales of the school and some neighbors of the community, especially Don Ramón despite the fact that many times his pranks put him in a very bad mood XD
El Chavo del 8 es uno de los programas mas clásico de comedia a nivel mundial, a pesar del tiempo aun sigue siendo muy relevante. Este programa me encantaba verlo desde niño, siempre me hacia reír a montones. La historia cuenta sobre las vivencia del niño del apartamento 8 conocido por los vecinos de la comunidad donde vive como el chavo del 8, el chavo era huérfano por lo que solo compartía con los otros niños de la comunidad y de la escuela, muchas veces recibía la ayuda del profesor de la escuela y de algunos vecinos de la comunidad, en especial de Don Ramón a pesar de que muchas veces sus travesuras lo ponía de muy mal humor XD
Creative process// Proceso creativo:
I made the drawing with graphite pencils on paper, basically I used two pencils to do it; the pencil 2h and 2b to create the chiaroscuro on the sketch, it should be noted that the cardboard in thread benefits a lot to apply the values. The drawing took me about 5 hours to complete and I did it on behalf of a client.
El dibujo lo hice a lapices de grafito sobre papel, básicamente utilice dos lapices para hacerlo; el lapiz 2h y el 2b para crear el claroscuro sobre el boceto, cabe destacar que la cartilina en hilo beneficia mucho para aplicar los valores. El dibujo me tomo alrededor de 5 horas completarlo y lo realice por encargo de un cliente.
