✨Trying out My New Highlighters✨

Hello everybody! It's been a while since I've posted a drawing here, well, at Christmas I got some nice highlighters, 4 to be exact and for life's sake I hadn't used them yet, and today I decided to try them with some simple drawings.
I decided to make 4 girls each one in a different color and create a different concept or vibe to each one, this to get out of my comfort zone and experiment a little bit.
Hola a todos! Tiempo sin publicar algún dibujo por aquí, bueno, en navidad me regalaron unos lindos resaltadores, 4 para ser exactos y por cosas de la vida aun no los había usado, y hoy decidí probarlos con unos dibujos algo sencillos.
Decidí hacer 4 chicas cada una de un color y crearle un concepto o vibra distinta a cada una, esto para salir un poco de mi zona de confort y experimentar.
They are 4 highlighters, one yellow, one green, one fuchsia and one orange, they are those that are used for the office, or to highlight. The point is that I have always liked them, either to highlight my classes or to draw and the day I got them as a gift I was very happy, and I had been thinking about using them for the first time and showing them to you here in hive.
Son 4 resaltadores, uno amarillo, uno verde, uno fucsia y otro naranja, son de estos que se usan para la oficina, o para resaltar. El punto es que a mi siempre me han gustado, ya sea para resaltar mis clases o para dibujar y el día que me los regalaron estuve muy feliz, y tenía tiempo pensando en estrenarlos y mostrarles a ustedes aquí en hive.
First I was thinking of just using a sheet of paper and let myself flow using the highlighters, but after thinking about it for a while I thought it would look too disorganized so after thinking about how I could do it I came up with the idea of dividing a sheet of paper in 4 parts and make a drawing for each color.
So I took a ruler and my pencil and divided the sheet in 4, I tell you that measurements and centimeters are not my forte, so maybe some of the parts were bigger than others.
Primero pensaba solo usar una hoja y dejarme fluir usando los resaltadores, pero luego de pensarlo por un rato pensé que eso se iba a ver demasiado desorganizado así que luego de pensar en como podía hacerlo se me ocurrió dividir una hoja en 4 partes y hacer un dibujo por cada color.
Así que tomé una regla y mi lápiz y dividí la hoja en 4, les digo que las medidas y los centímetros no son mi fuerte, así que pueda que alguno de las partes haya quedado más grande que otra.

As I told you, at first I had the idea to let myself flow and do whatever came out, but then I thought about it better and decided that the best thing to do was to make a preliminary sketch, so I got on pinterest and went looking for inspiration, I liked many pictures and I was taking several ideas. While I was making each character I was imagining the color it was going to have.
I had a lot of fun creating these girls their own personalities and also imagining their stories since each one is different and they don't look alike.
Ya dividida las hojas había llegado la hora de dibujar, como ya les dije, al principio tenía la idea de dejarme fluir y hacer lo que saliera, pero luego lo pensé mejor y decidí que lo mejor era hacer un boceto previo, así que me metí en pinterest y fui buscando inspiración, muchas fotos me gustaron y fui tomando varias ideas. Mientras iba haciendo a cada personaje me iba imaginando el color que iba a tener.
Me divertí mucho creándole a estas chicas sus propias personalidades y también imaginándome sus historias ya que cada uno es distinta y no se parecen.
I started making the orange one, I wanted to make her something serious and imposing, with a fixed and penetrating look, in my head she has a high rank and people always pay attention to her. For her I used the triangle for several things, like the main accessory that is located in the chest part and also for her earrings, which, as you can see in the sketch, were first going to be circular, but I decided that it was not going to make much sense and would create a visual clash.
The more I drew orange triangles the more I realized that they looked like doritos, and after I thought about it, I couldn't get it out of my head and this girl was crowned as the queen of doritos hahahahaha.
Empecé haciendo a la de color naranja, a ella la quise hacer algo seria e imponente, con una mirada fija y penetrante, en mi cabeza ella tiene un rango alto y las personas siempre le hacen caso. Para ella usé el triangulo para varias cosas, como el accesorio principal que está ubicado en la parte del pecho y también para sus aretes, que, como pueden ver en el boceto, primero iban a ser circulares, pero decidí que no iba a tener mucho sentido e iba a crear un choque visual.
Mientras más iba dibujando triángulos anaranjados más me iba dando cuenta de que parecían doritos, y luego de que pensé en eso, no pude sacarlo de mi cabeza y esta chica se coronó como la reina de los doritos jajajjaja.

Before starting to draw fuchsia I had many ideas in my head, because with the color fuchsia you can do many things, like a princess, a popular girl, there are many concepts that can be adapted to that color, but in the end I decided to draw a happy girl with headphones.
If I tell you the truth and I am totally honest with you, I drew this girl taking inspiration from one of my friends, she is going to have her birthday this Tuesday and I want to make her a drawing, but first I wanted to practice a little bit and I felt that this was the right occasion to practice before doing it. I really liked the result of this drawing because it is the one that is more detailed, since it has elements like the necklace, the hook, the headphones and her hair that is a little more produced.
Antes de empezar a dibujar a la fucsia tenía muchas ideas en mi cabeza, ya que con el color fucsia se pueden hacer muchas cosas, como una princesa, una chica popular, hay muchos conceptos que se pueden adaptar a ese color, pero al finalme terminé decidiendo por dibujar a una chica alegre con unas audífonos.
Si les digo la verdad y soy totalmente honestos con ustedes, a esta chica la dibujé tomando inspiración de una de mis amiga, ella va a cumplir este martes y le quiero hacer un dibujo, pero primero quise practicar un poco y sentí que esta fue la ocasión indicada para practicar antes de hacerla. Me gustó mucho el resultado de este dibujo ya que es el que está más detallado, ya que tiene elementos como el collar, la gancheta, los audífonos y su cabello que está un poco más producido.

The third girl I made was the one in yellow, and at first I wasn't sure what color I was going to color her, since I think she fits very well with yellow and green, but because of the stars I included in her design I decided it was better to make her in yellow. With this specific marker I had some difficulties, as it was kind of loaded with ink and the marker got smeared in several parts, mostly in the right eye.
I first had in mind to color the star yellow and the costume black but then I realized that the costume wasn't going to stand out much if she was in black. She has a pop/rock star vibe that is about to show off on stage and I feel like she has a lot of self-confidence. I really liked how her face changed after coloring it and at first I wasn't sure about the circular eyebrows, but then I was sold on them.
La tercera chica que hice fue a la de amarillo, y al principio no tenía claro de que color la iba a colorear, ya que me parece que encaja muy bien con el amarillo y con el verde, pero por las estrellas que incluí en su diseño decidí que era mejor hacerla de amarillo. Con este marcador en específico tuve algunas dificultades, ya que estaba como cargado de tinta y se regó el marcador en varias partes, más que todo en el ojo derecho.
Primero tenía en mente colorear la estrella de amarillo y el traje de negro pero luego me di cuenta que el traje no iba a resaltar mucho si estaba de negro. Ella tiene una vibra de estrella pop/rock que está punto de lucirse en el escenario y siento que tiene mucho autoestima. Me gustó mucho como le cambió la cara luego de colorearla y al principio no estaba seguro de las cejas circulares, pero luego me terminaron convenciendo.

Finally I made the green girl, and if you notice I changed her from how she was at the beginning, and with a little bit I mean everything, because after observing the girl I had made for a while I stopped liking her, I feel that she didn't have green vibes.
First I thought about a different green vibes, a girl like a technological girl in the style of peridot from Steven Universe, but then I decided for another style of green vibes, of a calmer girl and why not? an elf girl.
If I'm honest with you this girl causes me a little bit of conflict, I feel that she doesn't have anything that makes her stand out from the others, for some reason I feel that she is simple and I'm not sure that changing her would have been the best, but in the end I ended up liking her.
Por ultimo hice a la chica verde, que si se dan cuenta la cambié de como era al principio, y con un poco me refiero a todo, porque luego de observar un rato a la chica que había hecho me dejó de gustar, siento que no tenía vibras verdes.
Primero pensaba en unas vibras verdes distintas, una chica como tecnológica al estilo de peridot de Steven Universe, pero luego me decidí por otro estilo de vibras verdes, de una chica más calmada y ¿Por qué no? una chica elfo.
Si les soy sincero esta chica me causa un poquito de conflicto, siento que no tiene nada que la haga resaltar al lado de las otras, por alguna razón siento que está simple y no estoy seguro de que haberla cambiado haya sido la mejor, pero al final si me terminó gustando.

I had a lot of fun doing these drawings, I feel that each one of these girls has a very different vibe from the others, each one stands out for her own thing, my favorite is the yellow one, and my least favorite I think is between the green and the pink one, although I really like them all, maybe I will draw them again in the future because I liked their concepts a lot. I quite liked the highlighters, the only thing is that it would be better to use them on a thicker sheet, or on cardboard because in some parts the sheet was very weak.
Before I say goodbye I want to show you a picture I took of the drawings and I liked it a lot.
Me divertí bastante haciendo estos dibujos, siento que cada una de estas chicas tiene una vibra muy distinta a las otras, cada una resalta por lo suyo, mi favorita es la de amarillo, y mi menos favorita creo que está entre la verde y la rosada, aunque en realidad todas me gustan, tal vez las dibujé de nuevo en un futuro porque sus conceptos me gustaron bastante. Los resaltadores me gustaron bastante, lo único es que sería mejor usarlos en una hoja más gruesa, o en cartulina ya que en en algunas partes la hoja se ponía muy débil.
Antes de despedirme quiero mostrarles una foto que le tomé a los dibujos y me gustó mucho.

Algunos pueden pensar que es difícil dibujar con solo 4 colores pero yo pienso que se le puede sacar mucho provecho a dibujar con marcadores, me encanta este estilo de dibujo en el que solo colores algunos detalles y se delinea con bolígrafo o un marcador negro más delgado.
El personaje que más me ha gustado es la chica rosada, amo este color y siento que tiene un aura muy dulce y coqueto.
A mi me parece que no es tan difícil, de hecho, lo disfruté demasiado y me divertí saliendo un poco de lo habitual. A mi también me encanta este estilo, es algo un poco simple pero en realidad se ve muy llamativo, yo hice el delineado con un marcador negro delgado y otro un poco más grueso y me gustó como quedó.

Me encanta el contraste de colores y personalidades, mi favorita es la de fucsia, se ve muy coqueta, de verdad me encanto, y la de amarillo parece una gema de cristal jajaja, me encantan todas, y sus personalidades, la de verde me da paz. Y la de amarillo, me encanta su vibra, es un dibujo, pero me encanta la vibra feliz que trasmite, hiciste una buena elección con la personalidad de cada una.
