I haven't shared any drawings here for a couple of weeks, and I wanted to return with new content, so I decided to start a challenge to keep my profile active.

I decided to start, then, the challenge "I Turn Fruits Into Original Characters", inspired by different dynamics and challenges made by content creators and illustrators that I follow on my Social Networks.

But ... what should I do exactly?

The objective is simple and it is that, as the title says, I must: Choose some fruit, and turn it into an Original Character of my own.

Without any type of rule or restriction, this challenge will help me to keep my mind active and creative, as I am forced to create different characters based solely on the chosen fruits.

So, without further ado ... let's get started!

Creative Process:
For this first challenge I decided to choose the Banana as inspiration. It is a fruit that I like very much, and its yellow color reminded me, curiously, of Rapunzel's hair, so I was very excited to start with it.

I did a couple of doodles until I found the pose I wanted my character to be in. I wanted to illustrate her hair as long as possible to refer to the fruit I was based on, and color it yellow to emphasize it even more. There I gave free rein to my imagination and created my "Original Character" for this occasion, whom I decided to call: Bosco Lúna.
