Fish koi

in Sketchbook3 years ago (edited)

Greetings, people I hope you are having a pleasant day, I want to tell you I have changed the watercolors. The ones I had before that were in tubes when I bought them did not come the primary colors but more variations, which in turn did not let me mix because I felt that the color was very dirty. Now I went back to the pill format, I bought a brand that looks quite good and its colors are very cheerful, I also changed the brand of paper I used for a slightly cheaper one than the one I had before simply to make future comparisons. Now I painted this koi fish guided by the name of the watercolors that are called [watercolor koi] by the manufacturing company Sakura.

I think this artwork is rushed. It lacks outline to define the form of the koi. It is not like your previous work. I feel the colors are quite messy. Is it intentional? or as you stated, it is a practice or a dry run for your new watercolor set? !discovery 10

I think I did it intentionally since I wanted to give it an underwater effect so to speak.

very nice

In Moharaja Krisno Chondras Pond...

Very rarely do I see a watercolor that gives me the sense of looking at an object through water itself ... but there is a kind of ripple in the figure that gives the impression of seeing the koi through rippling water ... well done!

I'm glad you noticed that, thank you very much.
