I’m slowly going back to drawing. Although, I’m a bit lost. I don’t even know if drawing with grayscale should be my style anymore. This style gets me going but it also stops me from drawing.
The photo above is my original character. I sketched with pencil tool first and just applied flat grayscale. I’m not quite sure how I should finish it.
The photo below is a sketch of a fan art I’m working on. The character is called Zhongli. He is from the game, Genshin Impact.
My youngest daughter is a fan of the game even though she has never played it before.
She knows that the game is very popular and she has been watching many YouTube videos.
She asked me to draw him. She is drawing him as well.
I hope I can show the completed drawing soon.
ぼちぼちお絵描きしています。けれどもなんともスッキリしません。グレースケールで描いてきましたが、このままこのスタイルで描いて行って良いのか分からなくなってきました。
調子が良い時はどんどん描けるのですが、悪い時は全く描けないスタイルです。どちらかといえばどんどん描けなくてもいいから、調子が良くない時でも少しは描ける方が良いのですが、全く面倒な自分です。
上の写真はオリジナルキャラクターです。鉛筆ツールでスケッチしてから、グレースケールのベースを入れたところで躓いています。
下の写真は原神というゲームのキャラクターです。鍾離(しょうり)という名前らしいです。我が家の次女ちゃんはこのゲームで遊んだことががないのですがファンだそうで、描いて〜と頼まれました。ただ描くのは面白くないので、次女ちゃんにも描かせています。
このゲーム、ダウンロードは無料だということですが、結構有名な声優さんたちがキャラクターの声を担当しています。この鍾離(しょうり)くんの声はなんと前野智昭さんです。
う〜む、、、セクシー系でしょうか、笑
前野智昭さん、良いお声ですよね。声をイメージしながら描こうと思います、笑

Did you use Autodesk sketchbook? I just bought a new device and I am finding it challenging to create anything tangible out it.

I use Clip Studio for most of my drawing. I use Procreate sometimes.
Autodesk sketchbook looks interesting. I might give it a try.
I think you will do well once you get a hang of using the digital device and the app. I can’t wait to see your creations!
