Hello when im not sure of what to draw i have a stack of photos that i put on my art trolley and i pick one photo and play around with it. I found that it is a good idea when i want to avoid devices especially at night time. Or if im simply not inspired and found myself scrolling down to find some photos reference. Im trying to print photos every few months of the family and i include a few that i will keep as drawing references.
For this i used himi gouache and coloured pencils. Limiting my media is also helping to feel less overwhelmed to make decisions in the drawings. This is just a loosely play and keep up with the practice of making art no focus on the result.
Bonjour, quand je ne sais pas quoi dessiner, j'ai une pile de photos que j'ai prises sur mon chariot d'art et je choisis une photo et je joue avec. J'ai trouvé que c'est une bonne idée quand je veux éviter les appareils, surtout la nuit. Ou si je ne suis tout simplement pas inspiré et que je me retrouve à faire défiler la référence des photos. J'essaie d'imprimer des photos tous les quelques mois de la famille et j'en inclue quelques-unes que je garderai comme références de dessin.
