Good morning, afternoon or evening and HAPPY NEW YEAR. Thank you for stopping by my post, I tell you, for reasons of planned obsolescence and failures with the internet I had been absent, but I am here with much joy and effort. This illustration is inspired by a song, do you recognize it? At the end of the post I tell which song it is.
The illustration: due to the whim of the wind the smoke dances, it is an illustration that is inspired by the visual distortion of the human figure, as well as reflecting the effects of tetrahydrocannabinol in those who consume all this while respecting anatomical aspects. I invite you to see a brief step by step of how I did it, at the end of the post there is a gif that summarizes the whole process that, of course, cannot be missed, we just continue.
Para esta ilustración realicé un boceto más elaborado de los que suelo hacer, pero me alegró mucho de hacerla así para esta ilustración, me facilitó mucho el trabajo posterior.
For this illustration I made a more elaborate sketch than I usually do, but I am very happy to do it like this for this illustration, it makes the subsequent work much easier.
Realicé el line art con la ayuda del bosquejo, ya acá terminé de definir los volúmenes que distribuí para dar la sensación de cercanía en los pies.
I made the lineart with the help of the sketch, and here I finished defining the volumes that I distributed to give the feeling of closeness in the feet.
A diferencia de los trabajos anteriores tanto el fondo como la mancha de la figura los realicé a la par escogí colores que fueran afines para dar una sensación de armonía en todo el conjunto.

Unlike previous works, both the background and the stain of the figure were made at the same time I chose colors that were related to give a feeling of harmony throughout the whole.
En este punto, a diferencia de las anteriores ilustraciones al tiempo que le di volumen con los tonos cercanos de la piel trabajé en el rostro donde el color de los ojos, fue el detonante de lo que a continuación venía.
At this point, unlike the previous illustrations, while I gave it volume with the close tones of the skin, I worked on the face where the color of the eyes was the trigger for what came next.
Acá trabajé con una base geométrica para convertí las manchas del fondo en un escenario que simula la profundidad y aparte le da una sensación de peso al personaje ilustrado.
Here I worked with a geometric base to turn the spots in the background into a setting that simulates depth and also gives the illustrated character a sense of weight.
Acá no podía faltar la lumbre de donde obtuvo todo ese tetrahidrocannabinol (le dediqué una captura a este paso solo por diversión, en el gif debe quedar genial.
Here it could not miss the fire from where you got all that tetrahydrocannabinol (I dedicated a screenshot to this step just for fun, in the gif it should look great.
Sombras y contrastes con capas extra para darle dramatismo a la ilustración en general.
Shadows and contrasts with extra layers to add drama to the overall illustration.
Un poco de humo con buena iluminación para representar el espeso humo y el brillo que ahora forma parte de ella.
A bit of smoke with good lighting to represent the thick smoke and glow that is now part of it.
