Este es otro estudio que he hecho del Curso de dibujo de Charles Bargue. En esta ocasión se trata de la cabeza de Ariadna, un personaje mitológico muy popular. Según cuenta el "mythos", era hija de Pasiphae y del Rey Minos. Es la princesa que deja el hilo para que el héroe pueda encontrarla, de allí viene la expresión. Así Theseo la puede ubicar y derrotar al minotauro. Cada quien tiene su laberinto y sus propias bestias, en el entramado que es nuestra mente, por más difícil que sea un reto, siempre hay salida. A veces el dibujo se parece a un reto laberíntico.
Al igual que en el dibujo anterior, hice las medidas con el colgante del Mjölnir; utilicé un lápiz HB, uno 2b, y uno 6B.

This is another study I have made from Charles Bargue's Drawing Course. This time it is the head of Ariadne, a very popular mythological character. According to the mythos, she was the daughter of Pasiphae and King Minos. She is the princess who leaves the thread so that the hero can find her, hence the expression. So Theseo can find her and defeat the minotaur. Everyone has their own labyrinth and their own beasts, in the web that is our mind, however difficult a challenge may be, there is always a way out. Sometimes drawing resembles a labyrinthine challenge. I took the photos with my mobile phone.
As in the previous drawing, I made the measurements with the Mjölnir pendant; I used an HB pencil, a 2b pencil, and a 6B pencil.
