[ENG-ESP] "ART" THE CLOWN (TERRIFIER) DRAWING WITH COLORED PENCILS.

Hello drawing and illustrating friends, I hope you are very well, this week I saw a somewhat disturbing movie, it didn't scare me but it did disgust and repel me, I thought it was horror but it was Gore, and I don't like gore, not so much because it is sensitive but because it was very explicit but the script was terrible, it is senseless violence. The truth disappointed me, because I like psychological terror but here there was none of that, however I liked the character of the clown a lot, he was somewhat mocking and sadistic, in addition to the fact that the makeup, although already well used in the cinema, has your touch. I made the drawing of the clown known as Art, on black cardboard with colored pencils, I hope you like it!

Hola amigos dibujantes e ilustradores, espero que se encuentren muy bien, esta semana vi una película algo perturbadora, no me causó miedo pero si asco y repulsión, pensé que era de terror pero era de Gore, y no me gusta el gore, no tanto porque sea sensible sino porque era muy explícito pero el guion era malísimo, es violencia sin sentido. La verdad me defraudó, porque me gusta el terror psicológico pero aquí no había nada de eso, sin embargo el personaje del payaso me gustó mucho, era algo burlista y sádico, ademas de que el maquillaje, aunque ya bien utilizado en el cine, tiene su toque. Hice el dibujo del payaso conocido como Art, en cartulina negra con lápices de colores, espero que les guste!

PROCESS

I did the drawing on my pad, I made the sketch of the face that is a bit similar to the demon from the movie The Nun, that is, with a white nose and a very pale face. I did the sketch around the head and then I did the inside where I include the eyes, nose and his scary bloody mouth.

El dibujo lo hice en mi block, hice el boceto del rostro que es un poco parecido al demonio de la película la Monja, es decir, de nariz blanca y rostro muy pálido. Hice el boceto alrededor de la cabeza y luego hice el interior donde incluyo los ojos, la nariz y su aterradora boca sangrienta..

Unlike previous drawings here I start with the white pastel color, the reason is because this clown is wearing a very white makeup, and I will only use the normal wax crayon for the less illuminated parts that contain shadows, so I start with the left edge of the face until the right side is covered, and in the part where the eyes go I am pouring white color of normal wax.

A diferencia de dibujos anteriores aquí comienzo con el color pastel blanco, la razón es porque este payaso lleva un maquillaje muy blanco, y solo usaré el creyón de cera normal para las partes menos iluminadas y que contengan sombras, así comienzo por el borde izquierdo del rostro hasta cubrir el lado derecho, y en la parte donde van los ojos voy echando color blanco de cera normal.

Then I continue filling in the face and making the relief of the face, which is something full of holes as if it were the skull that was glued to the skin, so I am doing this effect alternating between lighted and shadowed parts. Then when painting the top of the vhead I add other tones to make the reflections look better and not just in black and white so I add strokes of blue and turquoise green, this kind of light reflection is usually seen when objects they are on a dark background, it is what I want to achieve using these colors.

Seguidamente sigo rellenando el rostro y haciendo el relieve del rostro que es algo lleno de huecos como si fuera el cráneo que estuviera pegado a la piel, así que este efecto lo voy haciendo alternando entre partes iluminadas y sombreadas. Luego al pintar la parte superior de la vcabeza agrego otro tonos para hacer que los reflejos se vean mejor y no solo en blanco y negro, así que agrego trazos de color azul y verde turquesa, esta clase de reflejo de luz suele verse cuando los objetos estan en un fondo oscuro, es lo que quiero lograr utilizando estos colores.

As the final detail I painted the bloody teeth of that macabre smile, first adding white color, and on top of it a very strong red color, as you can see I did not paint all the teeth but I made stains to make it more realistic. I also painted the top part of the head a little more and also shaped the little hat that he is wearing, so I finished this drawing.

Como el detalle final pinte los ensangrentados dientes de esa macabra sonrisa, primero echando color blanco, y encima de él un colo rojo bien fuerte, como pueden ver no pinte todos los dientes sino que hice manchas para que se aprecie mas realista. Tambien pinte la parte superior de la cabeza un poco más y también le di forma al pequeño sombrero que lleva puesto, asú di por finalizado este dibujo.

FINAL WORK

This is how this macabre clown called Art turned out, the concept is already a bit in the cinema, but with his brutal murders I think he is earning a position as a villain, although if we compare him with IT, the latter has a better development and I think that other interest. However, Art is now in the culture and it remains to be seen what will become of him in other films, I hope you liked the drawing, I tried to make it very scary. I say goodbye until a new opportunity.

Así quedó este macabro payaso llamado Art, el concepto ya está un poco en el cine, pero con sus brutales asesinatos creo que se esta ganando un puesto como villano, aunque si lo comparamos con IT,, este último tiene un mejor desarrollo y creo que otros interes. Sin embargo, Art está ahora en la cultura y queda ver que será de él en otras películas, espero que el dibujo les haya gustado, traté de hacerlo bien aterrador. Me despido hasta una nueva oportunidad.
