Dibujando una máscara de carnaval veneciana 🎭🃏 / Drawing a Venetian carnival mask 🎭🃏

Dibujar con lápices de colores es algo que todos aprendemos a hacer desde pequeños, sin embargo, en mi opinión, lograr un buen resultado con esta técnica, no es tan sencillo como puede parecer porque a diferencia de la acuarela o el óleo, que nos permiten mezclar y sobreponer los colores para crear luces y sombras y así conseguir acabados más suaves y naturales, los lápices de colores requieren un poquito más de dedicación y paciencia para que un dibujo tenga realismo y se vea bonito.

Drawing with colored pencils is something that we all learn to do from a young age, however, in my opinion, achieving a good result with this technique is not as simple as it may seem because, unlike watercolor or oil, which allow us to mix and overlap the colors to create lights and shadows and thus achieve softer and more natural finishes, colored pencils require a little more dedication and patience for a drawing to be realistic and look beautiful.

Hoy quise dibujar algo diferente, por lo general me gusta hacer retratos, paisajes y elementos de la naturaleza pero para mejorar la técnica hay que dibujar de todo así que viendo revistas en mi casa me llamó la atención una máscara de carnaval de estilo veneciano. Los objetos, estructuras y edificios son excelentes para aprender sobre perspectiva, formas, simetría, etc.

Today I wanted to draw something different, in general I like to make portraits, landscapes and elements of nature but to improve the technique you have to draw everything so while I was looking magazines in my house a Venetian style carnival mask caught my attention. Objects, structures, and buildings are great for learning about perspective, shapes, symmetry, etc.

Esta máscara es dorada así que para conservar su brillo utilicé algunos de mis colores metálicos.

This mask is golden so to keep its shine I used some of my metallic colors.

Utilicé cuatro tonos metálicos, amarillo, marcador negro, lápiz y una hoja de papel Bond / I used four metallic colors, yellow, a black marker and a white Bond sheet
