Algarve (Portugal) #3

in Sketchbook4 years ago (edited)

Hello my friends,

I have spent the holidays observing (and drawing) these incredible cantaloupes in Portugal.

I still do not understand how drawing and observation are not an obligatory subject in schools.

As hI drew, herds of tourists approached the cliff and turned their backs to the sea to take the subsequent selfie.
They didn't even stop to look!

They will have spent about 1000 euros on the trip just to get a few likes on instagram.

If there is a political party that prohibits mass tourism, they already have one vote, mine.

The world has definitely been filled with idiots.

Nature is incredibly sensual. When you look at the shapes these stones have, you realize their power and majesty.

Anyway, It has been a complicated challenge to synthesize these cliffs in a few lines.

With the sunlight hitting in front of them, he couldn't figure out exactly what the volumes were like. I should have become a giant and be able to caress them with my hands.

Some are more accomplished than others. In this other, however, with the afternoon light already, I leaned against the light projected from one cliff on another.

Hope you like, have a nice sunday.

kind regards,

Nice drawings! I've been practicing drawing a few smaller rocks and boalders but would love to attempt something like this next.
