But corals are dying accelerated death from a bleaching pest. Meters and meters of literally dead ecosystems that leave colorless parts of the sea that previously attracted the attention of spectators eager to know.
Global warming drastically increases the temperature of the sea, accelerating this process, and when I talk about temperature I mean that even a half degree of increase or decrease in temperature in an ecosystem is deadly for various genera and species.
I would like to be optimistic but I believe that if this accelerated destruction of our environment continues we will see the disappearance of many other beautiful things.

Este tema puede llegar a tomarse desde distintos puntos de vista según la semántica. Una serpiente de coral puede llegar a ser muy llamativa, de igual manera una coral entonando un cantico, pero no quiero hablar de eso hoy.
Los arrecifes de coral son un despliegue de color deslumbrante y hermoso, lleno de vida en todos sentidos, están vivos porque son unos pólipos, albergan vida porque dentro de estos pólipos vive cierta alga, y generan estructuras de toda forma y tamaño que sirven de refugio a muchas especies marinas.
Pero los corales están sufriendo una muerte acelerada debido a una peste que los blanquea. Metros y metros de ecosistemas literalmente muertos que dejan sin color a parte del mar que antes llamaba la atención de espectadores ansiosos por conocer.
El calentamiento global aumenta drásticamente la temperatura del mar acelerando este proceso, y cuando hablo de temperatura hablo de que hasta medo grado de aumento o descenso de temperatura en un ecosistema es mortal para diversos géneros y especies.
Me gustaría ser optimista pero creo que si esta destrucción acelerada de nuestro medio ambiente continua veremos la desaparición de muchas otras cosas hermosas.
