The Crazy Kitchen Supplier Plan — AutoCAD Design

in Sketchbook4 years ago (edited)
Yesterday the plan, sections, and elevations were ready. Suddenly the client's decision changed! He wants to take the opposite side of the room instead of what we agreed! The problem is that even though the design is the same, the size of the room is different!

The Proposed Change Plan

Take a look at the differences between the two plans. The client's first choice of place to set up his coffee shop was huge, unlike his final choice with his approval and signature. The first client option length of the room was 4.60 meters but his final option room length was 3.98 meters, the difference of the length was 62 centimeter. It's a huge impact on the kitchen furniture.

However, this is not my problem. I need to pass the General Plan to the kitchen supplier so they can figure out what to do. For now, I'm just waiting for my boss to tell me if the PDF AutoCAD plan is going to be emailed.

The Proposed Top View Front Counter

As you can see, the design varies greatly, especially in size. As you can see, the design varies greatly, especially in size. I made it in millimeters instead of centimeters to get the right size down to the smallest detail.

When I created this front counter, I considered the size and standard of the cabinet door even though it could be customized. I made 500 millimeters exactly to be easy to do and also according to the length of the room and counter. If you can see, there is an arched line that is 600 millimeters in size; that is the false door of the counter with a height of 1000 millimeters.

Conversion and Calculation

How is the centimeter to millimeter conversion and its calculation? There are people still confused about the simple conversion of a centimeter to a millimeter even a meter to a centimeter. Here is the example below.

I use meter in AutoCAD if the area exceeds 15 meters and if 10 to 15 meters I use a centimeter. If it's 10 meters down, I use a millimeter in AutoCAD especially if it's detailed drawing.

The Kitchen Plan

You will notice the difference in our drawing plan. I paid more attention to the staff space so that they could function properly. But the problem with what I did according to my manager was that the municipality would not approve it. Because they have standard needs in the kitchen, it can be a problem for the kitchen supplier, how they will resolve it.

For my part, I just did what was right and paid attention to the staff in their actions inside the kitchen. Now, there's a meeting to talk about what to do in the kitchen and the counter, whether appliances should be reduced or just customizable of a low refrigerator.
