As for my entry for this week, I choose Haunted Spider as I see it that this kind is Spider is quite lethal and dangerous so it captures my interest to draw it. It has sword feet which can be really dangerous to its enemies.
This kind of spider is associated with souls based on the Splinterlands lore.
In this drawing, I lessen doing massive darkening of colors so I did lighter coloring style now. Let's see what feedback I will get this time.
Process of my Drawing
I first, do the initial drawing at Haunted Spider's back as it is the most exposed in its body figure.
I then started to draw its exposed legs.
Next to that, I then finish the form of Haunted Spider.
I then proceed with its body details.
I then trace it with Calligraphy pen to make it bolder.
Started coloring its violet area.
I colored the dark area with violet and then pink in the light area.
Next to that, I colored its legs with yellow and then light and dark green.
And lastly, I colored gray and black on its legs.
About the card
Haunted Spider is one awesome range attack spider especially when you totally upgraded it. It has the ability of Poison which inflicts additional damage in the beginning of round after successfully hit previously.
This could be really effective if you put it at the back as it can deal around 2~3 damage depending on its level while it has attack high speed if upgraded at least level 8.
