Hello friends! Welcome back to one of my art posts. I present you my entry for this week in #splinterlands, maybe it's not my best participation, but anyway I like the idea of sharing it, I hope you like it.
Again I chose a "Death" card, this time it is Dark Enchantress, epic card from the Beta edition.
¡Hola amigos! Bienvenidos de nuevo a uno de mis posts de arte. Les presento mi entrada para esta semana en #splinterlands, tal vez no sea mi mejor participación, pero de todos modos me gusta la idea de compartirla, espero que les guste.
De nuevo he elegido una carta de "Muerte", esta vez es Dark Enchantress, carta épica de la edición Beta.
PROCESS - PROCESO
Beginning with the sketch, to tell the truth this sketch was not for her, it was another portrait I wanted to work on, but due to time constraints and some controversies I decided to use it for my own participation.
Empezando por el boceto, a decir verdad este boceto no era para ella, era otro retrato en el que quería trabajar, pero por cuestiones de tiempo y algunas controversias decidí utilizarlo para mi participación.
After this I started with the base colors and some shadows, my next step was to make her face. Once this was done I moved on to the hair, this time I decided to start with a dark color as a base and then work on the highlights. In this opportunity for the hair I used a triangular tip brush that I liked a lot for the elaboration of this, normally it complicated me a lot doing long hair, but I feel that it flowed better than I expected.
Después de esto empecé con los colores base y algunas sombras, mi siguiente paso fue hacer su cara. Una vez hecho esto pasé al cabello, esta vez decidí comenzar con un color oscuro como base y luego trabajar en las luces. En esta oportunidad para el cabello utilicé un pincel de punta triangular que me gustó mucho para la elaboración de este, normalmente me complica mucho hacer el cabello largo, pero siento que fluyó mejor de lo que esperaba.
Then I proceeded to make her clothes and accessories, to then move on to the frame and background of the oval where she is located. For this background I made a night sky simulating a thunderstorm, then I gave the details to the frame and the skull in it.
Luego procedí a hacer su ropa y accesorios, para luego pasar al marco y fondo del óvalo donde se encuentra. Para este fondo hice un cielo nocturno simulando una tormenta eléctrica, luego le di los detalles al marco y a la calavera que hay en él.
To finish I added lighting on it, gave a smoke effect coming out of the skull and placed the background in black, where I added some dead trees with a plant brush and some golden leaves to match the frame.
Para terminar le añadí iluminación, le di un efecto de humo saliendo de la calavera y coloqué el fondo en negro, donde añadí unos árboles muertos con un pincel de plantas y unas hojas doradas a juego con el marco.

Practice, practice, practice, consistency improves many things. I've only been illustrating for 9 months, it's all been perseverance
