Kapüy the kitten of the Guaicaipuro with the name Pemón
Kapüy is a medium sized kitten, another member of the pack. She is black and white, like the famous Silvestre of the cartoon, the so called tuxedo cats (bicolor cats with white coat combined with some other color coat)
One Sunday (almost three years ago) my grandmother asked me to go with her to buy cheese at the popular Guaicaipuro Market. I saw a small ball of hair go into a PVC pipe that serves as a drainage system for the roofs of the market, and after the child left because he couldn't catch the kitty, I put my hand in the pipe and pulled out a little black and white hairy cat with big eyes. I knew I could not leave her there, as it would mean certain death under the wheel of some vehicle.
When she arrived home she was received very cordially by Pocholo who had been home for three days, she was not very convinced to play with him, she was scared.
In principle, the kitten would only be in a temporary capacity while some person or family adopted her, but she ended up staying at home. My sister suggested the name Luna, and my nephew who is a lover of our country and roots began to investigate and he was baptized Kapüy, moon in the Pemón language.
Kapüy is very active, adventurous, has a great character and is a hunter.
That spirit of Kapüy has made her the protagonist of several adventures. On one occasion, she tried to enter a neighbor's house, which was giving her food, and she fell from a third floor, slightly breaking her jaw.
On another occasion a snake brought her home, still alive, in the middle of the night, she gave us the fright of life since at first we thought she was dead and the fear that it caused us to see that my mother and I raised her head, I think we woke up a few neighbors.
Kapüy is a cute kitten who is part of the herd so far very healthy, she likes to be caressed on her neck and has almost no sound when meowing. She loves to eat and has a very nice coat.
Cats are excellent pets, adopt one and it will make you very happy.

Kapüy la gatita del Guaicaipuro con nombre Pemón
Kapüy es una gatita de tamaño mediano, otra de las integrantes de la manada. Es de color blanco y negro, como el famoso Silvestre de la caricatura, los llamados gatos tuxedo ( bicolor gatos con pelaje blanco combinado con pelaje de algún otro color )
Un domingo (hace ya casi tres años) mi abuela me pidió la acompañará a comprar queso al popular Mercado Guaicaipuro, saliendo de allí por la parte de su estaciónamiento vi a un niño correr y decir : "ven gatico, ven“ , vi una pequeña bola de pelos entrar en un tubo de PVC que sirve como desagüe de los techos del mercado, tras irse el niño al no lograr atrapar al minino, introduje mi mano en el tubo y saque de allí a una gatita blanca y negro peludita y con grandes ojos. Supe que no podía dejarla allí, ya que significaría una muerte segura bajo la rueda de algún vehículo.
Al llegar a casa fue recibida de manera muy cordial por Pocholo quien tenía en casa tres días, ella no estaba muy convencida de jugar con él, estaba asustada.
En principio, la gatita solo estaría en calidad de temporal mientras alguna persona o familia la adoptaba, pero termino quedándose en casa, mi hermana sugirió el nombre de Luna, y mi sobrino que es amante de nuestro país y raíces comenzó a investigar y se le bautizo como Kapüy, luna en lenguaje Pemón, los Pemón son indígenas suramericanos que habitan la zona sureste del estado Bolívar, en Venezuela.
Kapüy, es muy activa, aventurera, tiene un gran carácter y es cazadora.
Ese espíritu de Kapüy la ha vuelto protagonista de varias aventuras, en una oportunidad intento ingresar a casa de una vecina, que le daba alimento y cayó de un tercer piso, se fracturo levemente la quijada.
En otra oportunidad caso una serpiente y la trajo, aun viva, a casa a media noche, nos dio el susto de la vida ya que en principio creíamos que estaba muerta y del miedo que nos produjo ver que levantaba su cabeza mi madre y yo gritamos, creo que despertamos a unos cuantos vecinos.
Kapüy es una gatita linda que forma parte de la manada hasta ahora muy sana, le gusta que acaricien su cuello y no tiene casi sonido al maullar. Le encanta comer y tiene un muy bonito pelaje.
Los gatos son excelentes animales de compañía, adopta uno y te hará muy feliz.
