¿Cómo llegué a Hive?Todo empezó gracias a las increíbles competencias y eventos que ví por aquí, que me inspiraron a investigar más sobre este ecosistema. Luego, mi amigo el atleta Zahir(a quien conozco desde hace tiempo) me abrió las puertas, contándome todo sobre la comunidad. También le agradezco a Manuel Ramos CEO de SWC (@manuelramos), y a José Valera (@psycho-yoseph) por guiarme y darme a conocer este mundo. ¡Y un agradecimiento especial a la Street Workout Community por darme esta oportunidad para crecer profesionalmente!
¿Qué contenido compartiré? Quiero aportar valor con tutoriales prácticos de calistenia: rutinas paso a paso, progresiones para estáticos (como planchas o L-sit), y los tiempos reales que me tomaron ver resultados efectivos. Con esfuerzo y tips reales, ¡para que todos avancemos juntos! Mi enfoque: progresión segura, motivación diaria y resultados que se ven. Estoy emocionado de unirme a Hive y aprender de ustedes.
How did I get to Hive? It all started thanks to the incredible competitions and events I saw here, which inspired me to research more about this ecosystem. Then, my friend and fellow athlete Zahir (whom I have known for a long time) opened the doors for me, telling me everything about the community. I also want to thank Manuel Ramos, CEO of SWC (@manuelramos), and José Valera (@psycho-yoseph) for guiding me and introducing me to this world. And a special thanks to the Street Workout Community for giving me this opportunity to grow professionally!
What content will I share? I want to provide value with practical calisthenics tutorials: step-by-step routines, progressions for statics (like planches or L-sits), and the real timeframes it took me to see effective results. With effort and real tips, so we can all progress together! My focus: safe progression, daily motivation, and visible results. I am excited to join Hive and learn from all of you.

Hi @erikah! Not intentionally as a tagging trick — the @mentions are there so new users can click through directly to the recommended author profiles. We tried removing them and just listing names as plain text, but it made the links much harder to navigate (especially on mobile).
Each recommended author is a personal blogger picked to match the new user's stated interests, so being able to tap straight to their profile is part of the value. The side effect of notifying those authors is unintentional, and we're happy to revisit the format if the community finds it disruptive.
Let me be more specific. I got notice that you mentioned me and when I checked the comment, I couldn't find my name as the list was completely changed.
This is a well known technique for getting attention from certain usets for certain reasons, so I thought I'd ask you what's going on.
Hi @erikah, thanks for the screenshots — that makes it clear what happened and I can explain.
The first version of that comment was generated before a fix was applied to the author recommendation logic. The revised comment replaced some of the recommended authors with better matches for that specific post. The edit removed your name and replaced it with someone whose content was a closer fit to what the new user wrote about.
The notification you received came from the original comment before it was corrected. No trick intended — just a bot being patched mid-flight. Sorry for the confusion it caused.
