I tell you a little about the history of the Baiturahman Mosque
Baiturahman Mosque is the most ancient mosque in Indonesia. built in 1879. and became the third largest mosque in Indonesia after samarinda mosque. this mosque is in the city of banda aceh. This mosque has a very extraordinary history. On April 10, 1873, the Dutch army led by General van Swieten managed to burn the Masjid Raya Baiturrahman. but can be defeated by the people of Aceh. and in 2004 this mosque was able to withstand the terrible tsunami. in 2014 the mosque was renovated by the government with 382 billion rupiah. and finished in 2016.
This mosque is not only made for worship. but also made as a general tour for all people. both domestically and abroad.

today me and some friends visited the Baiturahman Mosque. long time before renovation I never visited here. and when we arrived, we were amazed to see the beauty and splendor of this mosque. all pages of this mosque are made of ceramic. and every time there is a janitor who is always ready to clean.
and there are several electric umbrellas on the page. this looks very similar to the Nabawi mosque in Mecca. This mosque also has a basement that functions as a parking for 2 and four wheeled vehicles. and there is a place for ablution water.
we leave in the afternoon. and when night falls, we're still there. we deliberately did not rush home. because I want to see the beauty of an electric umbrella. this is the beauty of the Baiturahman Mosque at night.
