Mi primer dibujo del 2021/ Tiempos para meditar|My first drawing of 2021/ Time to meditate

in OCD3 years ago

I resumed my space to draw after a few holidays and to share with my beloved people, recharged with love and happiness I looked for my materials and set out to make the first drawing of the year. I hadn't done it for a few months, sometimes the weather is relentless and doesn't let up at all.

I had stored in my cell phone an image that I liked a lot because of the energy it transmitted to me and I wanted to try to draw; I saw it easy to do, but I changed my mind when I was in the middle of the drawing and I thought that I still had a lot to learn to develop this skill; at times I wanted to stop, however I continued, I wanted to see how far I could go and how this drawing would look

I finished it in my own way and the most important thing is that I recognize in the drawing the mistakes I made, what I should have done differently, but with all that, I liked it very much.

Here I leave the image that inspired me:

Paso a paso

Step by step

One of the things I learned with #edoilustrado has been to divide the blank sheet into four quadrants, in the middle make the circle for the face and from there continue with the body of the drawing.

It is difficult to be drawing and at the same time taking the pictures, so at the moment my husband brought me the coffee I enjoy and accompanies me in these moments, I asked him to take some pictures, I had already drawn the girl's face and was satisfied with the result.

Then, I drew the body. The most difficult part was to make the hands and legs criss-crossed.

I started with the colors, unlike the image, I used some less vibrant ones and I made some arabesques and details on the suit, also some tattoos on the arms and legs.

With chalk and cotton I added a pastel background.

With black marker I drew arabesques around the girl's figure, I did it without a predetermined design. I let myself go and that's how it finally turned out.

Resultado final/Final result

Drawing is one of the things I like to do and I am grateful to 2020. It relaxes me, I let myself be carried away by the emotions of the moment and I enjoy it to the fullest. In these times of restart in which we are reflecting, thinking about what 2021 will bring us, it is good to disconnect from the environment and make a connection with our interior in the middle of some activity that gives us pleasure and that allows us a time to meditate and find peace and tranquility to our mind in the middle of thoughts, sometimes overwhelming.
