¿Qué tal todos mis queridos amigos de Hive?, el día de hoy les presento mi entrada para el concurso hecho por @acidyo, y básicamente se trata de realizar un diseño de una tarjeta de presentación de Hive, tanto la parte delantera como trasera, los cuales llevaban lineamientos y reglas en específico que pondrán a prueba nuestras habilidades de diseño. Luego de tanto tiempo de estar ausente en la plataforma, me alegra mucho volver de nuevo y poder participar en un este concurso. Hello my dear friends of Hive?, today I present you my entry for the contest made by @acidyo, and basically it is about making a design of a Hive business card, both the front and the back, which had specific guidelines and rules that will test our design skills. After being absent from the platform for so long, I am very happy to return again and be able to participate in this contest. Primeramente quise hacer un boceto de lo que tenía en mente para no perder la idea, de manera en la que pudiese tomarlo como referencia y aclarar mis pensamientos así como también organizar todo en mi cabeza. Pensé que podría realizar algún tipo de patrón detrás que tuviese que ver con la cadena de bloques, pero que no fuera tan evidente, ya que una de las descripciones era que fuese simple y elegante. Coloqué el logo en el centro, y un eslogan cualquiera simplemente para ir probando ideas, y una que otra cosa se me iba ocurriendo, al final el boceto sería muy distinto al resultado final.
First I wanted to make a sketch of what I had in mind so as not to lose the idea, so that I could take it as a reference and clarify my thoughts as well as organize everything in my head. I thought I could do some sort of pattern behind it that had to do with the blockchain, but not so obvious, as one of the descriptions was to keep it simple and elegant. I placed the logo in the center, and any slogan simply to try out ideas, and one thing or another occurred to me, in the end the sketch would be very different from the final result.
Empecé colocando los diseños generales, un par de sombras para generar profundidad sutilmente, finas líneas que dan un toque de elegancia en color rojo para que combine con el logo de Hive, y un mapa hecho de puntos arriba y debajo, para dar un aspecto global. Claramente en este diseño no podía faltar una alusión a la cadena de bloques y por eso a los lados de la tarjeta con muy poco porcentaje de opacidad encontramos la referencia.
I started for the general desing, a couple of drop shadows to subtly create depth, fine lines that add a touch of elegance in red to match the Hive logo, and a map made of dots above and below to give an overall look. Clearly in this design an allusion to the chain of blocks could not be missing and that is why on the sides of the card with a very low percentage of opacity we find the reference.
La idea del logo en el medio al final se quedó, y un eslogan debajo con una letra bastante delgada y con una separación notoria entre ellas, todo esto buscando que tuviera elegancia, y a su vez que fuese simple, acompañado de una línea debajo. Seguido tenemos el código QR de la comunidad, con la frase "scan us!" Encerrado en bordes rojos para hacerlo más dinámico, este código nos llevará a la comunidad de Hiveph, el código generado fue a través de la página qrcodegenerator Link . Por último y no menos importante en una esquina tenemos el enlace a Hive, el cual se ve bastante lindo en esa esquina la verdad.
In the end, the idea of the logo in the middle stayed, and a slogan below with quite thin letters and with a notorious separation between them, all of this seeking to have elegance, and at the same time to be simple, accompanied by a line below. Next we have the QR code of the community, with the phrase "scan us!" Enclosed in red borders to make it more dynamic, this code will take us to the Hiveph community, the generated code went through the page qrcodegenerator link . Last but not least, in one corner we have the link to Hive, looks quite nice in that corner, really.
Admito que para la parte de detrás no tenía ninguna idea en mente hasta que recordé el mapa de puntos, y pensé en "por qué no podríamos poner el mapa de Filipinas también hecho de puntos, ya que sería bastante acertado, de esta manera conservamos el diseño original y se vería más homogéneo". Seguido a esto pinté el mapa con los colores de la bandera de Filipinas al igual que las letras que lo acompañan debajo, esto ya luego cambiaría dependiendo del país claramente, así se le agrega un toque de singularidad a cada una. En una esquina se encuentra el código QR del servidor de discord de dicha comunidad, también generado en la página anteriormente mencionada. En cuánto a la línea de las esquinas las puse de azul y rojo también haciendo alusión a la bandera. El mapa global y la cadena de bloques también las conservé para este diseño y no se ve nada mal la verdad.

I admit that for the back I had no idea in mind until I remembered the dotted map, and I thought "why couldn't we put the Philippines map also made of dots, as that would be quite accurate, this way we keep the original design and it would look more homogeneous". Following this I painted the map with the colors of the Philippine flag as well as the letters that accompany it below, this would later change depending on the country clearly, thus adding a touch of uniqueness to each one. In one corner is the QR code of the discord server of said community, also generated on the aforementioned page. As for the line of the corners I put them blue and red, also alluding to the flag. The map global and the chain of blocks I also kept them for this design and the truth is not bad at all.
