We have just closed week 3 of the Weekly Hive Charity Giveaway. And all of the prizes and donations have been sent to the winning accounts. Therefore, Week 4 is now unofficially open
.
The results of week 3 can also be found in that post, here since they have been edited in. However, the purpose of this post is to explain the results in detail.

So what happened?
Well, the transaction action hash from the comment used to close the draw helped generate a SHA256 hash.

News
- The draw will likely remain on the same schedule until there is some kind of change either with Hive users, charity participants or the price of $HIVE relative to $HBD
- We are currently thinking about ways to increase participation in this initiative and other ideas to help giving and helping others on Hive.
Conclusion
Participation in the weekly draw is stable, but we would appreciate it if you tell all your friends who don't know about the draw already. Obviously we would like to see more participation so we will brainstorm ways to increase it.
Week 4 is now unofficially open and any $ HBD sent from now will secure a number in the week 4 draw.
With 7 $HBD collected for @papilloncharity, week 3 was successful!
Everything seems to be fair, but if you have any questions or concerns please let us know in the comments.
