Greenhouse effect and global warming || The effect of environment change on children's drawings

Hello Hivers, Happy Friday and hope you all are well

It is summer in our country now. Every year we experienced higher temperature in these days. Excessive heat makes people gasp. Thirsty people and other animals scramble for water. But this year's situation is quite the opposite. We are now passing the peak stage of summer season. I don't have to run the AC yet.

It has been raining heavily for several days. Looks like it's not summer but winter season. I have found a reason for this strange behavior of nature. In fact, the world is now completely stagnant. The mills are almost all closed. Cars and other vehicles are not running on the road much. Black smoke from cars and factories is not polluting our environment. Greenhouse gases are being emitted less. That is why global warming is happening less.

We have had a lockdown for over a month now because of the corona virus. My kids school is closed, my daughter is trying to draw new things every day. Yesterday she drew a picture about the change of our environment. The steps of drawing of that picture are given in this writing.

Greenhouse gases are one of the main causes of global warming. Now let's find out what the greenhouse effect is?

Greenhouse effects

In winter countries, a glass house is built to hold the heat of the sun at night. Different types of plants are planted inside the house. These glass walls prevent the generated heat to come out, this keeps the glass house warm. This is called greenhouse technology.

If we imagine the earth as a greenhouse, various harmful gases increases its temperature. Greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), and ozone.

What are the sources of greenhouse gases?

The number of mills is increasing day by day in different countries of the world. As the number of mills increases, so does the amount of black smoke. This black smoke contains a variety of greenhouse gases. The number of vehicles in different countries is increasing with time. This black smoke from cars also emits greenhouse gases. These greenhouse gases form a layer. The layer does not allow the heat generated during the day to escape. As a result, the earth's temperature rises above normal.

There are many downsides to this temperature rise. Rising temperatures are causing ice to melt and sea levels to rise. If this situation continues, the earth may one day sink to the bottom of the sea.

Our responsibilities to reduce greenhouse gases

We need to take action now to reduce greenhouse gases from the earth. Gas neutralization systems should be installed in mills that emit black smoke. Natural gas or solar power can be used instead of oil. The most important thing is that we have to plant more and more trees. Trees can absorb carbon dioxide and emit oxygen which is very much beneficial for the environment.

Let's plant more trees and save our beloved world.

I have used my iPhone 11 Pro Max mobile phone to capture these pictures.

Stay safe and healthy. Thanks.
