Nobabi Semai recipe, A traditional and tasty dessert item

Hello Foodies,

Hope you all are well. Today we will learn a new type of semai cooking recipe. The name of the recipe is Nobabi Semai.

You will need the following ingredients to cook this Nobabi Semai.

Semai
Sugar
Butter
Cornflower
Powder milk
Food colour

So, let's start with the recipe.

First you have to take 500 grams of semai, then you have to fry it properly with butter. Now, you have to add half cup of sugar and one cup of powder milk with it and fry again.

You can put this fried Semai in a bowl because we will be required this after few minutes.

Now you have to prepare the cream. To prepare cream, you will be required milk, sugar and cornflower.

Take one litre of milk and make it to 750ml with moderate heating. When the milk is dried to 750ml, add half cup sugar and half cup of cornflower with it. Mix the mixture well. For the better looking you can add food colour with it. I have added food colour, it gives the cream better look.

Now, here comes the last and final stage of this recipe.

You have to make different layers with cream and Semai. You can observe the pictures below. It can guide you how I prepared it. First you need to put the Semai in the bottom of your bowl. Then you put a thick layer of cream on top of Semai. Then again you give another layer of Semai on top of cream and follow the same process repeatedly until the bowl fully covered with Semai and cream.

This creamy Semai is really tasty. You will get two types of flavour during eating, soft and crispy. The Semai will give you the crispy taste and the cream will give you soft taste.
