Community Building
In the OCD Discord we have been trying to find ways to get more engagement and fun with everyone. We want to build a real community where people can come and have a good time hanging out with everyone and getting to know people.
The OCD Discord is a bit different than a lot of the other servers due to the fact that we do not have a post promotion channel for people to just drop their post links. We are more into trying to engage with people and teach people to build relationships and not look for a place that they can drop posts and leave.
We are looking at building a discord with more engagement involved. We want the OCD Discord to be a place where you can come hang out with friends, listen to music, play games and even earn crypto just for being an active part of the community.
We added the tip.cc bot which makes it extremely easy for people to send crypto to each other through discord. We have been sending Hive to people that participate in different activities.
We have started to hold music quizzes where you have 30 seconds to guess the singer and song name and the winner takes the pot of Hive.
We are always looking at new and exciting ways to bring interaction and build a strong community. With the tipping bot, we see this as a way to reward our members that want to engage and be a part of a growing community.
We have implemented a leveling system and integrated roles into the system. We know that with the introduction of the tip bot there will be people that are just joining the server to try and get free tokens, so we created roles that will be rewarded upon reaching certain levels so that we can reward the members that are trying to be an active part of the community.
We are looking forward to seeing the OCD Community grow as we welcome new members. We are also looking at seeing how the Community Incubation program grows so we can reward more content creators across as many different genres as possible.

This was a lot of fun today hanging out and the music trivia was quite the bonus (literally since i won a round)! We used to do a trivia game on Steem.chat back in the day. Glad to see some old things made new again! It's awesome seeing some familiar faces as well as many new ones. Thanks for the good times!

That's an interesting idea for building engagement.
I really like that you can also tip posts forever on peakd with a variety of currencies. For a community like The Ink Well (incidentally, we have updated our details for OCD), with plans to create a go-to destination for stunning poetry and stories on the internet, tipping provides a way to create long-tail sustainable incomes for writers, many of whom earn very little in the current publishing world.
